BASSET HOUNDS were originally hunting dogs and are very athletic.
They are robust, strong and active with great stamina, able to adapt to any situation or weather conditions.

Placid, never aggressive or timid, the BASSET HOUND is an affectionate, very sociable dog, even with people outside of the family or with other animals.

Originally from Great Britain, the BASSET HOUND is tenacious, hunts by scent, possesses a pack instinct, and is not afraid of brambles. It is very resilient and never aggressive, and its strong, stubborn personality is legendary. It is talented in a pack at following the scent of small and medium game.

It makes a sought-after family friend. It requires a firm education.

It needs lots of space and lots of exercise: BASSET HOUNDS are athletic.

CERTIFICATIONS
All of our puppies are registered with the AKC (American stud book). They are identified (via an electronic chip) and vaccinated before leaving the breeding kennel at eleven weeks old. They are socialised with the greatest possible care. All dogs have a DNA card that enables their origins to be certified.

EXPORTATION / TRANSPORT
Puppies for export in USA and non-American states

We apply an export tax refund for USA. For NON-US states, we take care of all administrative procedures, notably customs administration.

Each puppy is provided with an export pedigree and an American passport.
Your puppy will be collected and transported from the breeding kennel via the airport

Big ears, bigger personalities!

Who can resist that short & stout tough look, while being swoon by those droopy sad eyes, and those long velvety ears??

We know we can't resist it here!!

Aside from their obvious cute-factor, one of the other reasons we love Basset Hounds so much are their unique personalities!

Basset Hounds are a very devoted and intelligent breed, as well as a STUBBORN breed.

Because of their intelligence & persuasive behavior, people often joke that the dog is training them! Be forewarned, they’re not always joking; the dog is making mental notes of your behavior for next time.

And a Basset's sense of smell is amazing, second only to the Bloodhound! Seems they can smell dinner across the acres around here! For this reason, even a well-behaved Basset Hound can easily get distracted by tracking a scent & wander off, so keep track of your Hounds!

Our Bassets are also our family members, enjoying the comforts inside our home right along with us! We believe this is as it should be, breeding or not. Although we intend to add a few to the Pack, it is for that reason you will never see our Pack grow larger than we can comfortably accommodate inside the house with us

Our puppies are kept indoors along with their parents, and are socialized well with our family, to better prepare them for yours. Our youngest three kids are 5, 7 & 13, and love to play with the adult dogs and their puppies, so they are all very used to children. Puppies have also begun paper training and are using a doggie door by the time they go home with you!

Male or Female? How Do I Choose??
Let's face it, there are some breeds of dog out there that are known for their females being more calm, gentle, more nurturing around our own children, and just less likely to be 'high-maintenance' overall. We get that, we've even grown up with them ourselves!

Breeding these basset hound puppies helps my family and i become much closer. Also, we all know a dog is man’s best friend. Just from home we raise and breed all of our basset pups. Sometimes people ask me whether i prefer tri-color basset puppies, brown & white basset puppies or white & black basset puppies. Really, what i think matters most is how well you bond with your dog.

The color does not really matter to me. All of our pups receive just the best health care, love and really do get so much attention. Actually, we see all our basset hound dogs as part of our family hence treat them as such. With our discounts you can get a basset pup at a fair price.

In our home, we use our dogs to teach our kids about responsibility. As our pups grow, each of them are assigned under the care of our kids. This helps them become much more closer since they all have a common interest and love for the pups. It is always amazing watching them play with the basset pups.

Basset Hounds are fun to be with, very active and are known to be loyal family pets.
They do well with children
Will always want to play, you could hide treats around the house and he will do just everything to find them.
You can teach them a few tricks which they will gladly show off at the slightest chance they get.

This breed was bred to be working dogs and guard dogs. So will do anything to protect you.

We have been breeding these puppies for over 10 years now. It really has been an amazing experience and it has also brought my family and I much closer. With the help of my family, we ensure that all of our puppies are well taken care of. These puppies are raised in our home and receive all the home training they need before they are ready to go. With our first few litters, we only dealt locally. But due to our good reputation and testimonials from people who got their pup from us, there was an increased pressure from people who couldn’t come for pickup but wanted one of our pups. It was up until the 3rd year we started doing deliveries. I am truly glad we embraced it.

It was not easy at first since we always loved to meet the new owners of our puppies before letting them go. After putting in much time and effort to raise them, I always wanted to ensure I would choose the right person who would take care of the pups just as good as we did or maybe even better. That is the reason why we screen anyone who is interested in getting our puppies. Even if we only deliver and might not get to meet, there are a lot of things you can find out from someone just by talking to them.

Animal Welfare Comes First

we continue to care about our puppies long after they leave us for their forever homes. As such, it’s our strict policy to only sell to individuals , we will never sell to pet shops or brokers. To make sure our puppies get the loving forever home they deserve, we have a 3 step approval process and we carefully interview all potential families by requiring all potential families to fill out our potential family questionnaire. During this process we require you tomprovide us with three personal references and a vet reference. Please contact us to start the approval process to get on our waiting list. We have the right to deny any potential applicant for any reason we feel isn’t a perfect fit for our puppies.

All of our puppies and our Basset Hounds are raised completely inside our home along side our family so they are all well rounded to noise, people, and everyday life by the time they go to their forever families. We keep all of our basset hounds for their entire lives, we do not re-home our hounds when they are retired from our breeding program. They are part of our family forever and always. We do not allow any visitors to our home while we have or are expecting puppies. This is for the protection, health, and well being of all of our puppies. Most people are unaware how highly contagious and dangerous a potential exposure from a disease such as Parvo could be to a breeding program. Parvo can live in contaminated soil for years and can also live on any contaminated items or surface until it's properly cleaned and disinfectant. So we take no possible chances of having an accidental exposure to our breeding program by a unknowing potential family wanting to visit. We will gladly share pictures and videos with any potential family to see our complete breeding program and puppies and Parents. We also welcome any of our puppies families to come to our vets office for the puppies 6 week vaccinations /check up appointment so you can meet your puppy as well as us in a safe controlled environment. But we always keep our puppies until they are 9 to 10 weeks old.

we have a strict 3 step approval process that has to be completed and you have to be approved to purchase one of our puppies or be added to a waiting list . If interested in starting the purchasing process , please contact me with your email address and I will email you all the necessary paperwork.

Our breeding dogs are completely health tested and all genetically tested with Pawprint genetics or Embark all with triple clear results.

All of our hounds and puppies live and are raised completely inside our home along side our family .

We keep all of our hounds used in our breeding program forever, they are part of our family. We never re-home them when they are retired from breeding.

All of our hounds and puppies go to our Veterinarian for all of their health care needs.

**We do offer FULL AKC Registration to select approved homes for a additional fee and will require a in home - home visit completed by myself for approval and a detailed explanation and of your existing breeding program .

Our puppies are delivered in our home with the assistance of my husband and I. The puppies are taken to the vet as follows

2 weeks deworming and check-up

4 weeks deworming and weight

6 weeks deworming , 1st vaccines, health exam.

9 weeks deworming 2nd vaccine and micro-chipping
