Don’t miss out on my August DROP-IN CLASS, which is tomorrow! It will be held outdoors at Hillcrest Park in Mt Vernon on Monday August 12th 6-645pm. Meet in the main parking lot near the lodge. This is open to all past and current students looking for some practice. Just $25 per dog. Hope to see you there!

Meet my weekend board and train dog Dillon! He is a 7 month old Border Collie. He is a happy boy, shy at times, and SUPER smart. He is here to work on leash walking, confidence building exercises, the Place command, and some behavioral issues. Good boy Dillon!

Looking forward to drop-in class tomorrow, July 1st, from 7:45-8:30pm! Class will be held OUTDOORS at Doggy Come Play in Burlington. This is open to all past and current students to get some extra practice and controlled socialization. Only $25 per dog! Hope to see you there!

Meet my board and train dog for this weekend, 1 year old Mavis the Aussiedoodle. She is here to work on jumping up, playbiting, basic obedience, and adrenaline dumps turning her brain off. She is very sweet, spunky, and smart. Good girl Mavis!

Meet my adorable happy-go-lucky board and train dog from this weekend, Petunia! She is a one year old Labrador mix that is VERY social, but doesn’t always have the confidence to back that up. We worked on basic obedience, touch/sight/sound sensitivities, working through adrenaline rushes, and more! Good girl Petunia!

Meet Buster AKA Bus, the German Shepherd. He is currently enrolled in private lessons with his owner. Today we started working on the PLACE command. He has to stay within the boundaries of the cot, but can be in whatever position he chooses. This is a great way to build a dog’s self-confidence. Good boy Bus!!

Who’s ready for DROP-IN class?!? Monday May 20th 745-830pm at Doggy Come Play. We will start class outdoors, then move inside. Open to ALL past and current students. Only $25 for the 45 minute class.

On a very rare day off for me, my dogs were invited to celebrate their cousin Tanks birthday! They each got their own doggy ice cream treat and a long walk together. Happy birthday Tank!

We had so much fun at my drop-in class last night! This is open to any student, and I hold these classes once a month. This class was at a city park. Included in this class, I had two owners take the opportunity to work both of their dogs together on commands. I also had a 4H student preparing for state, other dogs working on building their confidence, and overall controlled socialization. Good dogs!

Day 2 for Midas is starting off with lots of distractions and stimulation work. All dogs need to learn how to continue to work after getting adrenaline dumps (from hearing/seeing/smelling things). We took a group walk with my dogs around the neighborhood.
Pebbles and Blondie had a great weekend with me! They made a ton of progress with their on-leash commands. Good dogs!

Getting a dog to run thru the tunnel is a great way to build their self confidence! Jaxon and I worked on the tunnel along with the “drop it” command. He did fantastic after some time and effort. Good boy Jaxon!
