Sometimes, your tracker doesn't always send you an updated location even though it's scheduled to. Although this seems like a glitch, it might just be that it hasn't moved for a while.

You see, our trackers conserve energy when possible to extend battery life. If your tracker is set to a 10 minute location update schedule it will check in with the nearest set of GPS satellites every ten minutes. If that location hasn't changed, then the tracker doesn't use up unnecessary power by sending an update to your phone.

Of course, pressing the location button in the app forces the tracker to send you the latest location and battery information regardless of the update schedule.

Your tracker will check location every ten minutes. If the location hasn't changed, then the tracker won't send an update to conserve energy.

Bright lights, loud noises and lots of people. What can be exciting for us, can be scary and overwhelming for cats and dogs.
If your furry friends are scared of fireworks then try these following steps:
1. Keep them inside
2. Close your curtains, doors and windows
3. Keep them close and give them lots of reassuring cuddles
4. Keep the tv or radio on as a distraction
5. Don't react to the bangs and flashes

Did you know that if your dog doesn't have a collar with an ID tag showing your name and address, you could be liable to a fine up to £5,000? 😬 Whilst the maximum fine is unlikely, I'm sure we could do without any kind of easily avoidable fine. For those of us that use a harness please ensure that your dog is also wearing a collar with an ID tag. Our trackers get their location from GPS satellites and then use a SIM card to transmit to your phone. That's what our low-cost subscription covers. Other data transfer tech such as Bluetooth are short range so aren't very useful for tracking outdoors. Our low-cost SIMS are multi-network and work at any distance, meaning you are always covered ❤️

According to vets4pets.com, one in four elderly dogs and one in three cats will develop dementia.

The condition is not always something that is easy to pick up on, because of the slow onset of the condition. The symptoms are often the kind of behaviour changes that people can very easily attribute to their pet just getting older.
Early diagnosis could improve the outcome for pets, slowing down the progress of the condition. A diet aimed at improving brain function and changing your pet's environment and behaviour can help extend their quality of life.

According to a study by Unity College in Maine, anxious cats aren’t comforted by objects that smell like their favourite person – and these reminders could even make them howl more in their owner’s absence.

The study asked 42 cat owners to bring their cats and something that smelled of themselves to leave with their cats alone in a testing room. Whilst the cats showed signs of bonding with their owners, they generally paid no attention to the scented object when left alone - in fact, 38% were more vocal.

So there we have it - scientific proof that cats do appreciate us ❤️😻
