I am truly a bad bad girl because I have been neglecting this Paige. Life has been crazy busy. With the cost of living increasing and needing to work two jobs on top of managing the health problems of many of the cats who live here, I've just been extremely busy.

A lot has happened since I have last posted. We've gotten some new additions who have feline leukemia virus, and they're doing great. We also have a few others who have joined the sanctuary. When it's not so late, I will show off some pictures. 🙂 Thank you for all of you who support and follow me and show love to the kitties.

I never believed that another cat could win my heart the way that Houdini did, but it is definitely possible. Athena is an exact copy of him except a female version. It's kind of creepy how she is exactly like him. Her mannerisms, behavior, her personality and like being held the same way. She even likes all the same exact foods Houdini did. little one, you have officially become my favorite kitty. And here's another thing, she doesn't like when I leave her. In fact, she quits eating. When I was gone, she would eat wet food when someone gave it to her with her meds, but she quit eating the dry food. She'll starve herself from that. Two times I went away, and I've come back. The weight loss is noticeable. So I refuse to travel without her anymore. I can't put her little body through that. So little Miss Athena is going everywhere that I do now. Plus she does have special needs. Athena is going to be one of the most well traveled kitty cats you'll ever meet. Next year she's going to Florida. And in a few short days, she's going to Virginia.

So Houdini‘s Hope, a subsidiary of the sanctuary, received two new feline leukemia cats. Their names are Ariel and Celine. I’m pleased to say they are doing well.
