I’ve heard people say these words with a slow shake of their heads.⁣⁣
⁣
I hear this phrase often when a woman gains weight. When her usually slender frame gains another layer. When she takes up more space than she used to. When she doesn’t have the time to dress up and the two craps to give about calorie counting, the scale, ANY OF IT.⁣

But, you know what I think?⁣
⁣
She didn’t let herself go. In fact, she’s done quite the opposite. She’s letting herself live.⁣
⁣
She’s too busy making memories with her kids, sharing chicken fingers, and comforting their fragile hearts to put makeup on and get her hair colored every time she sees a gray.⁣
⁣
She’s too busy living and enjoying to put that useless pressure on herself. So instead, she's accepted the cellulite on the back of her thighs, stomach sprinkled with stretch marks and extra skin as a gift from her babies. They’re a representation of her strength as a mom.⁣

So really:⁣
⁣
She’s let herself go of worrying about appearances.⁣
⁣
She’s let herself go of the traditions she was raised with but never felt at home.⁣
⁣
And she’s finally free of societal constraints.⁣
⁣
So, the next time you hear “she let herself go,” look past her messy bun, and her mesh shorts, to her happy heart—and know that she’s free.⁣

And smile for her because you know she’s never looked better, and felt more 𝘩𝘦𝘳.⁣

✨Puppy Highlight✨

Rumor is an adorable 10 week old apricot boy. He is hoping to find his forever family. Rumor is expected to be 40-50 lbs. 🏡👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Rumor is a goofy puppy exploding with personality and LOVE! Rumor is a happy happy puppy with a serious case of WIGGLE BUTT!! He always has us laughing and smiling. His tail is always going and he is such a playful little clown! He loves giving kisses and will bond very closely with his person. He has so much potential to be an amazing and intuitive Standard Poodle! Rumor is already sleeping through the night in his crate and goes to the back door when he needs to go potty. He has also proven to be a natural emotional support dog! With additional training and time we know Rumor will be an absolute rockstar just like his mama Ember! 🤩🐾❤️

For now he is still small enough to ride in cabin on a plane with us so delivery to anywhere in the US is possible! ✈️🌎

Rumor is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, tail long docked, dewclaws removed, and is the picture of health as per our vet! 🩺🐩

The past 24 hours is when things got real! Last night Ledo and Linden found the WORST smelling stuff ever! Mike bathed them the night before they were going to the groomer! This morning the puppies found it like it was a magnet. Had to carry each heavy pup back to the house. Despite Mikes nocturnal efforts and my daytime efforts to dispose of and cover the stuff, the pups found it again this morning and in the afternoon while I had friends over for cake. Each nicely dressed big hearted woman carried a couple pups back to the house. More nocturnal efforts to fix the situation. Yet another time the pups found it. While I corralled and carried each pup back, Linden and Ledo went back in! So much for grooming. 🤧😳😩
