Donations of wet puppy food can be dropped off until 4 pm today (Friday), 10-2 tomorrow (Saturday), or 10-4 Monday. They're closed on Sundays and Tuesdays.

Many thanks to co-manager Ashley Ward for arranging rescue and thank you to all the Harrison County Flora Shropshire Animal Shelter staff for giving this sweet old man TLC to make his shelter experience as pleasant as possible.

Many pups who get adopted from the shelter get returned to the shelter for typical puppy behaviors: they whine, chew up furniture, and pee & poop in all the wrong places. Raising a dog from puppyhood is incredibly rewarding but it's hard work that a lot of folks just don't have the time and patience for. Please think carefully before bringing one home. (Beth)
