Monty was viciously attacked yesterday by another cat. One of our team Janka has managed to take Monty in but he urgently needs an operation to remove his eye before it becomes infected. Thankfully his operation has already been funded for but we need to fund for eveything after. His ongoing vet bills, food & shelter.

Alfie’s story 🐾 :
Alfie was rescued from a life on the streets - He was found with his bestfriend Felix. Alfie is currently going through veterinary treatment as he is suffering from covid-19, dehydration & malnourishment. All donations towards Alfie are massively appreciated 🤍

Alfie is now approx 7 weeks old, loves to play and cuddle😺😺

He is so sweet , friendly and loving ❤❤❤

✅ cleared to fly
✅ passport approved
✅ neutered if over 6 months old
✅ rabies vaccinated

Welcome & Thank you for joining our rescue & rehome page.

Our team are currently updating our most needed sponsor list. This list will hold the names & infomation of the kittens that are in urgent need of fundraising to support them through there journey at The Hope Colony.

As it stands we have 7 kittens that are in desperate need of medical attention. 4 are already at the vets receiving treatment thanks to previous funding.

I will be posting out our “sponsor me” post shortly. If any of our kittens and there stories catch your eye, please do think about sponsoring them. We ask for a minimum of £10 per month towards the kitten. This can be set up through a standing order or a text reminder from our team. Within your monthly donation you will receive updates on your sponsored kitten & progress photos. Every £1 counts. If you don’t want to sponsor a kitten but would like to donate towards the charity we have a fundraising link. All donations are massively appreciated 🤍

Once kittens have passed there health check with the vet they will then be up for adoption. Please do let us know if you would like to know more about our adoption process. All cats & kittens deserve a Forever home 🏡🐈‍⬛

Hello. Thank you for joining The Hope colony rescue & rehome page. A little back story on The Hope Colony.

The Hope colony is a charity ran by a group of ladies who work together to reduce the amount of abandoned cats & kittens in Cyprus. Our aim is to rescue & rehome. Many cats & kittens are dropped off at The Hope colony shelter in Aya Napa in a carrier bags or box’s. If it wasn’t for the Hope colony many, many cats & kittens would be left to die.

The Hope Colony all started with one kitten. Hope. Hope arrived to one of our lovely ladies called Janka . Hope was skin & bones and Janka nursed Hope back to health and is now a completely different cat. From there the shelter has grew at such a fast pace. Our team has already helped so many cats & kittens but the work never stops.

There are to many stray/abandoned cats & kittens in Cyprus you might say. Yes, but if we can change the lives of the ones we are lucky enough to catch in time then we are doing our part. We have ladies on our team from the Isle of Man, UK & Cyprus. We also work daily with a vet who is based in Cyprus. Many of the kittens dropped too us have no nursing mother. They are in desperate need of a forever home. All cats & kittens will be health checked & have all the appropriate checks & paper work done before there adoption is put in place.

This page will be updated daily with information on any kittens who will be up for adoption. We are also looking for sponsorship & funding towards the cats/kittens. Sponsoring can be done monthly and we ask for a minimum on £10 per month, per kitten. This will mean they can be fed, looked after & will also go towards any vet bills. Our team go above & beyond to raise money for these animals but it’s impossible to do it without your help! If you do not want to adopt but would like to help us make a difference, please do sponsor a cat/kitten or make a donation. No donation is too small and massively appreciated by The Hope colony team & all animals at the shelter.
