Foster Update on Britta
Britta has finished her heartworm treatment with flying colors and is working on being the awesome dog she is. She loves to be near her people, stretched out on the floor, in a dog bed, or on the couch next to you. She gets along with my two females and an intact male visitor Corgi. She walks very nicely on a leash and enjoys her walks. She takes treats very gently. She knows sit, shake, and back. Her black fur glistens but her heart is Golden. This might be the perfect dog for YOU!
🐾Welcome Hank🐾
🐾Hank is an almost 3 year old male purebred golden. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations, has been on heartworm prevention (Simparica trio), is Heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered.
🐾He’s a beautiful, sweet, happy go lucky boy. He rides well in the car. He wants to be near his people. He is good with dogs and cats. Hank has been good with every animal introduced to so far. Old, young, big, small. He has a beautiful healthy coat, with curly britches!

💛 Pup-date Axl 💛
Axl has been having a great time over the last month! He has a great appetite, his leash manners are improving quickly, and he’s doing a good job sitting on command. He’s been socializing around other dogs at the dog park and loves saying hello and playing with the other pups. We’re working on laying down on command, and giving distance to any person who is sitting. He’s been excellent at not getting on furniture. Axl is learning how to fetch and loves chasing the ball! We’re working on dropping the ball once he’s returned it. Unfortunately he was given a blanket as a puppy to be “his” and it’s created some confusion with what’s a toy and what isn’t. As a result, he tends to try to chew on textiles and destroy them. We’re working on teaching him what is his and what isn’t, and he’ll destroy dog toys that aren’t strong rubber. Axl is a very sweet dog that will make an adoptive family very happy.

🐾Pup Date Ginger 🐾
Gingers foster family says that she has really warmed up over the last week or so and that she will be a delight to her new family!!
She is housebroken and sleeps well in the kennel. She is learning commands but has not mastered any of them yet. She loves all her toys and does not seem to be a chewer of things she shouldn’t be chewing on! Yay, Ginger!
