SHUGLE [eng. translation Mangy) should get a new name!

The current one doesn't even come close to describing his sweet character...

MANGY is an orphan found on a winter night, and knows nothing NOTHING about the outside world, that is, the world behind the protection that we have been providing him for a long time now.
Until recently, we couldn't accomplish any interaction directly with him, the closest we got previously was if we were a meter and a half away from the plate full of kibble food.

And now... he caresses himself, eats carefully from your palm, he is not dominant at all, nor an angry dog.❤️❤️❤️

Mangy needs to feel security and eternal love in order to experience even just a little bit of this bitter world, but the world for him is a completely unknown huge space full of things he is frightened of... While he needs a new name, needs a patient dog lover to guide him outside our sanctuary.

It's time to give him a new name and a new opportunity to finally see the WORLD!

Our little Aya is now ready for a home 🏡 💕

Rescued during a cold winter when she was just a puppy, she knows nothing about the outer world and what it can bring to her, so let us all unite in finding her a proper home.

She is an active female dog, around 1,5 old, spayed, vaccinated, and still afraid of being petted for more than 15 seconds. Mid sized dog, which will be most suitable for people with an active lifestyle. As if frustrated, the Pawesome can be destructive sometimes.

She is a DIAMOND, and actually her name is Diamond too.

She is the tripawd QUEEN of The Barking Lot Shelter, but can you imagine The obstacles in her functioning as a handicapped dog in a crowded Shelter?

She needs even a secure and special floor where she will be able to get up, and walk around easily. She could be the queen of your yard. Would you like to spread the word about her?

Diamond is a young female Kangal mix, she simply adores food and that might be the reason why she should Be the single pet of the house.

Her routine involves eating the food out of every plate, and then chill under the shadows in our shelter. Her eyes full of fire will give you the strength to pass anything in life...

First, she was furless, now she is learning to maintain balance and move around over again, but she has the amount of love equivalent to the size of the universe.

Powerful, wise look and calm energy will be the elements that will conquer your heart in no minute.

Consider rehoming a tripawd. She is completely functional with a minimal need of human assistance.

Firecracker...
she really carries that name for a reason...

A few years ago, yes, a few years...
A dog arrived in a boarding house and stayed there for several years, while being cowed and terrified of everyone... unable to regain her trust in humanity, Firecracker remains there until this day, in another boarding house, on a different location.

She doesn't trust anyone, weighs less than 10 kg and has been fighting off our efforts to get closer to her ever since, so she is completely unprepared for a home yet. And that is the ultimate goal of rescue, a home for every dog in trouble and only in the world.

Firecracker doesn't have an issue with dogs, as much as it does with people, and that's the trauma from the horrible treatment while roaming Macedonian streets....

What does that mean?

That she is either condemned to stay in a cage for the rest of her life without a home and no warmth of a loving family, or she will be lucky enough, at least this year, and someone will be moved by the story and help us pay 120 euros for her 2 month stay in the new boarding house in order to give us enough time to tame her, and prepare her, or even try to give her a true second chance in life?

Will we give Firecracker a chance to experience the day when she will overcome the fear of human beings and their presence?

This is a sequence of activities related to only 1 kennel space in consiting of 16 kennel spaces and 37 dogs.

Besides feeding the dogs, there are many other activities that are part of the daily responsibilities when owning a shelter with rescue doggies.

🐾 Every dog is running and playing in the yard for at least 20-30 minutes a day - every day!
🐾 Their kennel spaces are cleaned every day.
🐾 Their water changed, their furs brushed.
🐾 Their food plates washed.
🐾 They're given quality food, adequate med treatments, food suplements etc.
🐾 They receive plenty of love and attention every day!

In case one wonders why we're washing the kennels with large water containers instead of a garden hose, it is because we have no electricity on the plot! 🤷‍♀️
Yes, we do all of this without basic needs like water and electricity.

Basically, the water pump needs power to run, which we provide by using petrol generators using them for limited time to fill in the water containers and water the plants/trees on the plot.

We have made a financial plan to provide power to the plot while also being environmentally friendly, and that is by setting up a solar panels system, which costs €3000. Unfortunately, we don't have the funds, so we are working with a workaround.

Hello everyone! Meet William. William has been in the uk for a few years now, but due to unforeseen circumstances he has found himself looking for a new place to call home.
He is an extremely loving dog, loves to be in your company and spending his time out in the garden.
William does like to be with people and doesn’t like to be left on his own. He gets excited on lead and will bark at other dogs usually after a sniff of them he’s ok!
He was attacked while he was a puppy, and is a rescue dog so he is quite nervous, but once he knows you he’s the most loving boy as you can tell from his photos 🥹❤️

Lovely Bubu is looking for a forever home ❤️

Bubu is 5-6 years old and she would be the perfect family dog if someone gives her a chance!

Bubu is the calmest dog you’ll ever meet, she adores people and she is amazing with other dogs. She is great with children as well.
She knows to walk on leash and she is toilet trained. She would love to have a yard where she can enjoy the days, and her own place on the couch where she can cuddle with her family on the nights ❤️

Bubu is positive on leishmania but she is doing great, she will need to receive a daily therapy which is not expensive.
She is very kind and very loving dog, she really deserves a chance and we really hope that someone would see that ❤️

Large, but acting like a pup! 😄 He once had a chance to his forever home, but it didn't happen... Red is the dream dog, he is very well behaved dog, he is good on leash, love to play with balls and to have interaction with people.

Good with other dogs, but better behaved with big dogs. He is amazing with people and he will adjust very fast in a new environment. He is around 5-6 years old and can travel as soon as possible.

Following a sad fate, she's hopefully at her last stop of her healing journey, both physically and emotionally. Since we shared her story in the last post, we're not gonna retell it again, but ask you to read the other post.

We need everyone's assistance, regardless how big of a donation, since due to her size and weight of 43 kg, the costs are much higher, including the operation, care and therapy and of course the Yumove pills that we order from England... She is 3 legged now, but she is full with love ❤️

Besides feeding the dogs, there are many other activities that are part of the daily responsibilities when owning a shelter with rescue doggies. 🐾 Every dog is running and playing in the yard for at least 20-30 minutes a day - every day! 🐾 Their kennel spaces are cleaned every day. 🐾 Their water changed, their furs brushed. 🐾 Their food plates washed. 🐾 They're given quality food, adequate med treatments, food suplements etc. 🐾 They receive plenty of love and attention every day! In case one wonders why we're washing the kennels with large water containers instead of a garden hose, it is because we have no electricity on the plot! 🤷‍♀️ Yes, we do all of this without basic needs like water and electricity. Basically, the water pump needs power to run, which we provide by using petrol generators using them for limited time to fill in the water containers and water the plants/trees on the plot. We have made a financial plan to provide power to the plot while also being environmentally friendly, and that is by setting up a solar panels system, which costs €3000. Unfortunately, we don't have the funds, so we are working with a workaround. We have no time, and each of 4 of us is continuously pretty engaged on a daily basis, and there is a lot ahead of us ☺️ Great thanks to our Vesna. Without her, this project would have been put under the risk of failing as we have 0 knowledge in construction or anything similar to this industry. 🫣 Natalija was buying construction materials for the concrete tile and the rest of the phases of building this sanctuary. 💰🚧 Gabriela brought breakfast and drinks for everyone, small plastic tables, and plastic stools for everyone working there under the sky on 40+ degrees in order to get some rest from the hard work. ⚠️🔥 Anastasija brought a huge summer umbrella for everyone to be at least safe against UV beams. 🏖 The most interesting thing in this story is that our Pawsome animals can not even sense what we are preparing for them.
