My foster pup Archer is up for adoption! He comes with free nails trim if a client adopts him 😉

Meet Archer! This handsome man seems to be a pittie/boxer mix and is 6-7 months old. He found himself at an animal control and had to spend his days in a 42 inch crate due to the over capacity. He is just a baby so we knew we had to help bust him out of there. He came to us understandably afraid of all new sounds, smells, and noises. Clearly he did not get to experience much of the world in his short little life. But despite that, he remained the sweetest boy. After a few weeks, he is already so much more confident, loves meeting new friends, dogs and people alike! He is doing awesome with potty AND crate training! He also loves snacks, toys and to play so I'm sure he would love another buddy in the home that could keep up with his puppy antics. This guy got a second chance and life and we are so excited to help him find the perfect forever home and life he never knew was even possible before and that he so deserves.

There will be ADOPTABLE DOGS, BBQ & Ice Cream Trucks, AMAZING raffles that you don't want to miss, a bounce house for the kiddos, watch all the amazing lifters bench pressing for this great cause and more!!

ALL proceeds will benefit these two rescues to help them continue to save lives.

We are having record breaking heat today. There are many dangers to hot days like these for our pets, from injuries such as burned paws from hot cement on walks or heat stroke, which can happen quickly and be fatal. Keep time outside short for quick potty breaks and have plenty of access to fresh water and air conditioning inside, and never leave your pet in the car.

Stay cool and be safe!

While 4th of July weekend is a big celebration for people, it can be one of the scariest for pets.

Many pets suffer from anxiety and fear with the loud noises fireworks bring which can cause them to shake, hide, pant, or even bolt. Please make sure pets ID tags and microchips are up to date in case of bolting. This is also the holiday with the highest record of missing pets. There are many great supplements and medications that can safely be given to pets to help with the fear. Talk to your veterinarian. This time of year doesn't have to be so scary!

Also, be mindful of keeping doors and gates secure if having guests over and let your pet be a "party pooper" and keep them inside.

It is going to continue to be HOT this week, so please keep your pets safe!

While we may be outside enjoying the weather, it is important to keep our pets cool and hydrated. Heat stroke can happen quickly in dogs and can be fatal.

So be sure to keep your pets outside activities short, never leave alone in a hot car, and be sure they have access to air conditioning, shade, and water.
