Farm Friends helped a local Daisy Troop learn & earn their Shapes in Nature Badge. The girls learned the many patterns we see in nature all around us such as the spots on a lady bug, stripes on a bee and that butterflies are symmetrical. They also learned how different animals use their colors and patterns to camouflage. Scouts also met and pet the rabbits and Bowser the tortoise! The girls also collected donations for the rabbit rescue we work with, Tribbles Rabbit Rescue! 🐍🍓❄️🐝🦆🐞🪺🌈

Farm Friends LLC visited preschoolers in Waterford, NJ with our Pet Program. Students finished up their pet unit and enjoyed the animal visit for the end of study celebration. Students, parents & staff met and pet the tortoise, ball python & guinea pigs! ❤️🐾🐹🐢🐠🦜🐍

Thank you to everyone that helped make our 2024 so great! Thank you to every school, library, senior home, township and more that welcomed us to join their events! Thank you to all of our friends & family that helped out at events or back at the farm! We were able to rescue numerous animals this year and add to the family. We had a great visit to an elementary school in Camden, NJ with our 5 Senses Program! Students learned about the 5 senses, how they help us in our daily lives and which animals have extra special senses. Students & staff met and pet the rabbits & goats! 🖐️👅👃👀👂🐰🐐

We visited 100 preschoolers in Chesilhurst, NJ with our Pet Program. Students learned about different animals, their individual needs as domestic pets and ways to be responsible pet parents. Students & staff also met and pet the rabbits & Bowser the tortoise!❤️🐾🐢🐶🐠🐰🐈🦜🐹

Contact us for a fun and educational animal visit. We still have some Fall weekdays open. There are many topics and lesson plans available. We visited the AWA's Summer Camp in Voorhees, NJ with our Animal Classification Program! This was our 8th week and final visit for this Summer. Campers learned the many ways that animals are divided into different groups and classified. We covered many popular characters and discussed whether they would be mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, insects, birds, carnivores/herbivores, vertebrates/invertebrates, prey/predators and enjoyed other fun educational examples such as X-rays and real reptile sheds! Everyone was excited to meet and pet the goats, Ellie & Kevin! ❤️🐐🐸🦅🦀🐋🐍

We helped celebrate a very special 70th birthday! Party guests enjoyed meeting, petting and brushing the goats. The party animals were a surprise for the “old goat” or G.O.A.T. ❤️🎂🐐

We visited K-4th grade students with our Green Eggs & Hens program in Clayton, NJ! Students learned all about special breeds that lay real green eggs, chicken fun facts and met & pet the real hens! Students went home with our flyer to go with our demonstration on how they can start a mini garden at home with a recycled egg carton! 🥚💚🐔
