One of my Sequoia Blues has finally laid her first eggs!! See the chart to see the color. First eggs are usually smaller than they will be after a month or two. Now we shall see what my other girls will lay and if they will all be a mauve/rose color. Just amazing!!
And for my boys…I have blues with some birchen/caramel spangles in the wings only and I have a boy with copper AND birchen in his hackles, wings, and saddle feathers. Heavy feathering on the legs and feet for all the boys and girls and their plumage is incredibly soft. Think fluff balls, very docile, leg warmers, quiet, very large breed.

I am hoping to build a little stand this year, but will have to be content with this little sign🤠. I forgot about my starter plants and am hoping to add these to the mix.
If you have a farm stand, comment on the money box you use and any other things you find useful to maintain your stand. Does it have doors that close or is it open all the time? Do you have an ice box with ice packs inside to keep the eggs fresh. How do you set up your plant section? Some people are adding Venmo for payment. Do you just take cash or do you also use Venmo?

Two times/day drop ins. One at 30-min and one at 60-min for playtime and one on one time.

Many cats are actually quite interpersonal, so I recommend that if you have a kitty that enjoys your company, add 30-min to the drop in so I can spend a little more time with them. I really think it makes a difference, especially if there are 2 or more kitties.

It is a sad day when people are using chickens to scam people. I got scammed😭, but more upsetting for me is that I didn't get my chickens. So I will be getting chicks next week.
If you are a chicken lover, owner, prospective buyer, make a mental note of the business I include here. He changed his page name after I told him I would be reporting him and filing a claim and he has blocked me from making comments on his page. The shipping company that participated is tropical shipping express. I will be keeping everyone abreast of the situation as it unfolds. But this needs to stop.
Please share with others you know and check out my page and group called Chicken Scammers. I will be posting my story and ways to spot scammers as well as other people's stories and tips. I am also adding some info on chicken care and recommendations for care. I am aware of a couple of other groups that are working to protect chicken buyers, so that will be a good resource for you too.
If you are a scammer, I encourage you to find a different line of work.
