My garden is a little out of control, lol. Lesson learned 😅 at least I'm getting some food out of it. Mint, basil, tomato, zucchini, cucumber and jalapeño so far. I'm just happy the bunnies and deer haven't eaten it.

Not to be cheesy but we moved to our home because taking care of horses would be a rewarding experience. But WOW, what a pleasant surprise. Our neighbors gave me these gorgeous flowers for helping care for their big beautiful beasts while they were on vacation ❤️

Finally got the sand/soil/clay mix. Blocked off all but the front window because he gets stressed if he sees out to much. I'd like to build him a bigger enclosure some day.

I should work on the getting some of the weeds cleaned up this weekend. While it can be unavoidable one of my biggest suggestions is that when mowing the lawn you mow with the grass blower away from the garden bed. Another concern I have is that we don't use pesticides since these vegetables are for our animals and isopod feed as well as our own. I wish them luck because the bugs have been terrible this year. They will need a soaking before consumption. (I'm open to safe suggestions)
