The air has felt a little crisper the last few days, and a few early leaves are changing color. One thing is for sure - Autumn is on it's way!🍁🍂
Autumn is hands down my busiest season, traveling to photograph regional championships, photo sessions, preparing for winter aannndd maybe riding my own horse in this perfect weather ;-)

I'm sitting at my gate in Chicago, getting ready to dive into a few more proof galleries and complete a couple of orders before heading home to my boys and all I have is an immense amount of gratitude for this last month.
August has been an absolute whirlwind of shows, sessions and amazing clients. I'm so thankful for each and every moment.
From fields and farms in Maine to working for Susan J Stickle Equestrian Photography LLC at the national championships in Illinois - I never would have dreamed that a few opportunities and a whole lot of hard work would have led to this

30+ hours of choosing the best moments in a stride, the best lighting, the best angles.
My favorite part about clinics is that I get the time, opportunity and freedom to experiment and be creative with my shots. Here is one of current obsessions - silhouettes!

The final day of the Shelly Francis Clinic is about to begin and what a treat the last four days have been. Photography, learning, horses and their people, laughter, teamwork and inspiration have been abundant.
A huge thank you to Gabby Jolin, Legacy Acres Equestrian Center, Shelly Francis, the riders, the grooms, and everyone in between for an exceptional few days - it has been my greatest pleasure to be your official photographer!

Awesome weekend with this crew! My first time in Missouri did not disappoint 😍
Home tomorrow for approximately 30 hours, then on the road north to photograph a clinic!

End of another hot August Classic for the St. Louis Area Dressage Society!

It makes a world of difference getting through long hot shows when the people around you are positive and joyful!

It felt so lovely to be back photographing the SLADS August Classic with many familiar faces and welcoming new ones hitting centerline!

But also equally important are these two spectacular ladies who put in hard work to make the show a success! Thank you Allyssia (Allyssia Timberlake Photography) and Bre (BGY Photography) for your talents and positivity!

And thank you show organizers, competitors, and NEC for a great show!
