Good lab boy enjoying his first water lesson. He’s still a bit hesitant but nothing like he was when we started! 🥹 10/10 form and ball retrieve 😂

Daycare days are soooo good for dogs 🥹 structured daycare is a fantastic way to let your dog be a dog while maintaining manners. Too much over stimulation can lead to dogs making poor choices. Having a working relationship with each of these dogs allows the group to flow productively and if asked to settle, they will. 🫶

Practicing heel in public “off leash,”. This starts them in the right direction while he still has his leash on for guidance but we try voice and hand signals before supplementing with the leash if necessary. Once they progress enough the leash can be removed. Here’s Theo practicing his heel around distractions. He didn’t even try to pick that thing up off the ground either! You’ll see he gets a hand signal reminder at the end. He just got a little distracted but regained focus quickly with reward when he returned 🥰

Gotta end the training session with a good roll in the grass 👌🤣

Adding in training to play is soooo good for dogs and a fabulous way to practice and solidify command with an excellent reward! Play is motivating for dogs and really good for relationship building. 🥰🫶

A tired dog is a happy, fulfilled dog 🙌

When you’re an independent boy who doesn’t need no hooman! He dry himself off! 😤 Grooming is an absolute essential for puppies to learn! It’s better to start early:) Odin here is getting used to baths, nails, ear and teeth cleanings!

Bentley after his mom picked him up from a training day with us 🥰 we love a happy, relaxed dog! Mentally and physically tired ✔️

Training with your dog can be done any time of the day. Even if it’s midnight. They don’t care what time it is 🥰 play is an excellent tool to use during training!Remember, lots of encouragement and praise, but stern marker for bad behaviors and then pick right back up with what you were doing. 😌 play allows you to practice a multitude of things at once with high value rewards. We’re working on some of his commands as well as working to mitigate some unwanted jumping behavior. Odin is having such a good time 🥹🫶 sweet rottie smile 🩷

I love this duo 🤩 very hard workers! It took them a bit to figure out how to turn smoothly but look at ‘em go 😎
