These items are not all required — they’re simply helpful tools and supplements that can support your dog during the transition.

I highly recommend a glass/ Pyrex dish for feeding. The ice cube trays are for freezing blended liver cubes, and the squeeze bottles are for some meal toppers (fiber blend, pumpkin, evaporated milk/ Goat’s milk, etc…). And again these items can be found for a little cheaper if you shop around. You could check out thrift shops, consignment shops even!

Let’s talk raw feeding supplements and preventatives. I spent a total of $113 a month for supplements and preventatives for my 3 dogs. The supplement at the top is optional and can be fullfilled through a well balanced raw diet. It’s just something I have on hand to use as needed to fill any possible nutritional deficiencies. We have liver which is like your dogs multivitamin, then we use chicken gizzards as the organ meat source (or commonly beef heart), and the secondary secreting organ can be trickier to find. This can be satisfied through some examples outlined in our raw feeding guide. This supplement can help when it is difficult to find a source. This cost includes the monthly heartworm preventative for our dogs which for our location is NOT OPTIONAL. Not too bad when you remember the raw diet and this preventative keeps us out of the vets office and eliminates costly vet bills 🐾❤️ ❤️
