We have been operating since April 2021 and have chosen to focus our efforts on puppies and do not have older dogs in our care due to the different needs of puppies from older dogs in need. Mother Puppies Rescue started because a need was identified. We rescue puppies that need to be with their mommies but can’t be with them for the important term of development, from the ages of birth – 12 weeks
of age, due to poor circumstances, these vary for every batch of puppies. Some circumstances that allow us to help puppies in need of assistance include: the death of mom, space or nutrition restrictions, animal homelessness, etc. When puppies are received into the rescue at Mother Puppies Rescue they are placed on a quarantine time, allowing the puppies to be assessed for their health and to ensure that they have not transmitted or carried any viruses to the kennel or fostering homes. To inquire about surrendering a litter you can email us at [email protected]. Your information will be kept in strict confidence. Our adoption process is a four step process. We start by having interested parties fill out the application (can be found here: https://forms.gle/bvhKPQvsrCJx3iNc7). Once the application is completed, we will review to see if you are a suitable placement for a puppy. We will then call you to discuss your application and get to know you a bit. Next we would schedule a virtual home visit, where we would send a google meet for us to have a tour of the house where the pup would live. This also helps us get a sense of you and your family and make sure we get the best match for our pups. The final step is a virtual or in person meet with the pup! At this time we request a deposit on the pup and will mark the pup as adoption pending on our page.
