Such a cool wooden type basket that came with the Oh Nuts gift set my mom sent me for Christmas. When I first took it out, I thought it was a wooden cutting board, but then after removing it from the packaging, it sort of just fell into place and surprised me.

The Living Room Chickens were a bit shocked when I broke down the couch and moved it out of the Living Room. They were sleeping on the back of the couch. They literally destroyed the couch, but that was many years in the making and honestly I hated that couch within 6 months of having it. It is over 7 years old and has been ready to go to the dump. I have a better couch I am planning to save up for, but for now I have a cheap chair which is perfect for what I need for right now. It took about 15-20 minutes and they all figured out where they wanted to sleep and settled in nicely. Sweet Dreams Babies!

What we feed our Pigeons matters because a healthy and happy pigeon is most important. I have tried a few brands and mixes, but ultimately DesMoines is always the best and I highly recommend trying a few different mixes to see what your pidgie or flock will enjoy. I just started buying the Premium 22 Mix and the Maintenance Mix and mixing them together and adding in some red lentils, additional safflower seeds, split peas, brown lentils, a bit of cracked corn, and some mung beans. I am noticing that there is a lot less waste and all the pidgies seem to be getting to eat something that they really enjoy.

THINK ON THIS! I hear some people say, especially when it comes to chickens, that mine are considered to be more like pets and that the ones they eat are different. That statement says one thing to me, common sense is definitely not so common. So if we could pass a law saying it was okay to eat cats and dogs, well then we should start selecting what breeds are allowed for everyone to eat, how does that sound to all of you? ALL CHICKENS ARE THE SAME, All chickens are sentient-beings no matter the breed.

You may not kill.

Let this sink in, when you support certain individuals in the spot light you may also be supporting their atrocious behaviors in the hidden background. Be sure to get to know those you support when you watch them on TV and go see them play Live, when you purchase their merchandise, when you spread their name around in conversation like they are an awesome person when really they are nothing more than human garbage IMO. I don’t care who you are, what color you are, what language you speak, etc., when you behave like this and engage in animal cruelty you are just human waste in my opinion.

This is one crazy looking Stuffed Animal of a Chicken haha. I am guessing a Silkie breed. My mom and her husband mailed this to me. I haven’t thought of a name yet and I think it sort of looks like a snow Monster of some sort haha. My actual Chickens were like, “What the BLEEEEEP is that?” Haha.

These two must check out all the things in the Living Room, even those houses that don’t belong to them. Jackie is pretty mild mannered while Kiwi on the other hand is my rowdy boy always looking to get into mischief. Somehow he kept escaping from the large Conure Cage even with all of the mesh tied down to the bars. He was sneaking out and then Jackie was following him. I placed the Wyze camera on them, but still could not see where they were escaping from. I looked over the entire cage today and think I figured it out and hoping that I fixed the problem. Hookbill birds even these small ones, cannot be trusted and can do a lot of damage to the other birds. I have already caught them in the other bird rooms and had to chase them out of those rooms. I bought a bunch more toys to keep them as engaged and occupied as possible. If they keep getting out and hurt any of the other birds then I am gonna have no other option other than to rehome them. Another cage of this size with bars spaced at about .5” or .75” are just so ridiculously priced too, ugh! That of course will be my last report, but they cannot be getting out or be out and flying about unless I am home and present with them in the room.

Ahh Jackie finally climbed into the new Winter House. I had placed a handful of Safflower Seeds in there to try and get her and Kiwi to go inside. They had been literally going everywhere and all around the new house, but not inside hahaha. I opened up the back to help the new house not seem so scary. Jackie decided that the seeds were worth the risk haha. Hoping to catch both of the Conures in there later tonight. Once they both become comfortable enough with the new warm house, I will snap the back cover again.

This wittle boy Madhu needed a nail trim. He’s so good about it too and then even let me use the metal Emery Board to smooth things out a bit. He was my very first little Serama Roo. He comes with a very shrill crow too haha.

Please 🛑 being IGNORANT people! Unless you have a Wildlife License to rehab an animal like this one, you do not need to be treating them like an experiment or science project. The more I read about people behaving like this, the more I cannot stand having to deal with the human race. Absolutely no excuse for this. I honestly wish people could get fined for this sort of treatment to wildlife.

Yes they do all those things to cows. Cows are sentient-beings and share feelings just like us humans. There is absolutely NOTHING Humane or Ethical about any of it. The next time you drink your bovine tit juice or eat your cheese or anything else with dairy you should be thinking about how incredibly SELFISH you truly are. Any thought of “I just cannot go without it”, “I love cheese way too much”, I only eat or drink a little of it”, and “no way would I ever eat or drink the fake stuff”, etc. those are all very SELFISH reasons. Also look up the word Hypocrite because way too many humans are some of the biggest hypocrites. Anyone who feels the need to debate this better be watching some shows on what really goes on behind doors before trying to start a debate.

This video made my Christmas Spirit actually come to life! Some people dream of wealth, some people dream of some fancy job, some people dream of a ridiculously large mansion, and so many dream of so much they do not need. I dream of this kind of life, no joke, I dream of having land and a small home just so I can expand my rescue and rehab and have this type of life right here. This my followers, this is my dream!

No Jack & Kiwi this new house is not for you two conures.

This was one of the projects I was working on for the upstairs Chihuahua Chickens and hens that reside in my Living Room. I began a major cleaning up last night and continued into this afternoon. This was my gift to them and will be the last for a while. I do way more for the birds than I ever do for myself and those that know me know that I would starve in order to give the birds in my care everything before I give myself anything.

Thank you so much grandma (Janet Moore) for the Large Winter Bed for Jackie & Kiwi (Conures). Everyone, please excuse the huge patch of paint missing on my wall. I had a sticky bracket for the curtain rod up and it fell off and took a huge strip of paint with it. I will share my horror storiess of my emergency relocation and moving into a rehabbed house for another day. My plan for the upcoming year is to start making more videos and stop worrying about what others think especially when they have no idea about what I have been through. I know I can be my worst critic so there is that. Anywho, I took this video not just to say thanks to my mother who is on a fixed income and is still waiting for me to pay her back monies I owe her from my emergency relocation, but to show how much I truly appreciate every single thing she does do for the birds in my care.

Jack AKA Jackie was a Conure I did purchase from Petco back in 2017 before I transitioned to Veganism. I had 2 senior cats and often on my way home from work I would stop at Petco and there was an employee who was working on socializing Jack. I always admired that employee and his dedication and I was growing increasly fond of Jack. After a couple months of talking about Jack and the pet store employee, a family member said to me that I should go get him before he is gone. That very night my Aunt and I went to the PetStore and I got Jack along with a cage and everything I thought he would need. Well they claimed Jack was a male. Anyway that was the name they gave him so I kept it. Months later Jack was def becoming my best friend.

Fast forward and skipping a bit otherwise this will become an even lengthier post, but a friend said she had a baby conure that hatched and needed a home and I thought Jack could use a friend. Welcome Kiwi 🥝! Turned out once Kiwi matured they started to mate and Jack turned out to be Jackie! After 5 years Jackie never laid any eggs and then decided to double down and laid 12 eggs. I was freaking out, but then she stopped and it’s been nearly a year thank goodness. No worries though, I gave her the necessary supplements and swapped out eggs with fake ones. She is healthy and happy and all is fine in their Conure World.

Thanks again Mom for always helping by helping the birds in my care. We all love you so much!
