Booking Spencerville Drummond Building for March 14, March 28 for agility practice.
10 a.m. to 12 pm.

What I propose is a snooker course to run. Rules will be explained beforehand. Then we can take turns running the course and learn how it works. The space will be divided in two so that a person can do independent practice on the other side for things like contacts, weaves, distance. (At the same time as a dog running the snooker course.)

$20 per dog for 2 hour practice for non members of Paws4fun. $15 for members. Please sign up quickly so I can make sure I have enough participants to cover the rental.

If the snow surface and weather are ok you can play with your dog outside as well.

Practice is for K9 Kup participants from K9Sorts Centre and Paws4fun Agility. Then on March 9 I will open to anyone if we have space.

I will open the March 28 practice to the public on March 19 if not enough participants.

What is K9Kup?

It is a series of four “mock trials” each with three events held monthly from June to September. Every K9Kup has a Standard. Jumpers and Gamblers alternate with Steeplechase and Snooker.

There is room for 15 teams with 8-10 dogs. These are split into three divisions which run concurrently. Ribbons are presented to 1st to 3rd for each event in each division. Overall placement ribbons 1st to 5th are presented at the last K9Kup.

It is hosted by the Paws4Fun Agility Club in Kemptville

Registration opens March 1st.

It is hoped that competitors will find the K9Kup fun, stress free, and valuable preparation for competitive agility trials.
