There were two chipmunks 🐿️ not one in the house. Egads Spock! No more. All have been safely relocated to the great outdoors! 🌲🌳🏕️

Mission rescue the Chipmunk 🐿️ is complete. Yesterday Spock decided to try and play with a Chipmunk that’s been chatting with him since we moved in. This resulted in a Chipmunk lost in our house for a day. This morning we heard a ruckus in the kitchen. Spock had located the Chipmunk. I scooped the little guy up in my sweatshirt and took him to the backyard to safety. He only had one scratch on his nose. I watched him for a while. Petted his back and told him he was safe. He is now safely resting in the shade by a tree. He’s moving just fine and doing well. I have named him Chippy. He let me pick him up and give him comfort with no fuss. Now Chippy needs to go find his family. They are probably worried about him. Glad you are safe Chippy! Live long and prosper 🖖🐈‍⬛!

This photo of Spock with the blue rug is where I fell in love with him 9 years ago today. I learned he was up for adoption and I had to get him. So happy gotcha day my dear little boy. June 10th is also my birthday, so Spock was a gift to myself. I love this little guy so much. He’s such a smart, clever, and funny little critter. I am so lucky to be his cat 🐈‍⬛ Mom.
