💖I had the pleasure of taking out sweet Carly for the day. Carly was so excited she allowed me to place her harness on, and walked well to the car, and jumped right in, she was unsure in the car at first, she likes to sit on the floor of the car, her safety zone, at times she would peek her head up and look out the window. We were joined by another volunteer and fur-dog Baby. We kept our distance, as both prefer to be only pets in the home but had NO REACTION to each other during our time out. We walked along Papago park, Carly did AMAZING! She would pull off and on to go and sniff, and take in the fresh air, no reaction to joggers or bicyclists, or other dogs walking nearby. Carly would lean in for pets, and give kisses, 😘she is affectionate and loving. She knows sit and would do so for treats, which she takes gently.

🐾We came across the lake area with ducks she didn’t seem to be bothered by them only if they were in the bushes moving around, she was curious. Carly always waited so patiently for her water, or when it was time to get in the car. After our long walk/hike, it was off to get her some nuggets and a hamburger, Carly waited again so patiently for her meal. She is one of the sweetest, loving dogs, whoever adopts her will be so lucky. After her yummy meal it was time to head back to boarding.

Hidden Gem Alert💎

AMAZING SOL!! CHECK OUT HIS DAY TRIP WITH HIS VOLUNTEER FRIEND!!! (DOG FRIENDLY)

Sol had no issue getting right into the car. Secured with the leash to car door. Sol did great. Just sat there looking around. When he went to look in the back, I called him and he came. He allowed pets and I gave him some treats.
Once we arrived at Papago, he was ready to get out of the car and go on his adventure. He can pull off and on. But he was responsive on the leash when I pulled back. He always wanted to know where and what his day foster buddy Shrek was doing. He was NOT a big fan of water, but did dip his toes in once. When I kneeled down next to him, he will lean against you for pets. He truly loves to cuddle, and not the all up in your face cuddling, but will sit there and enjoy receiving pets. Time to go down the hill and I thought for sure, he would pull me. But to my surprise, he would stop and wait for me. Such a gentleman. He also knows sit.
After we were done with our hike, it was time for a treat. He was very patient as we strolled through the McDonald's drive thru, well, he was pretty much sleeping on the back seat. That was a lot of excitement for one day. Sol waited patiently as I was letting his treats cool. Then he took gently when offered.
On our return back to boarding, he enjoyed the car ride back and I had no issue returning him to his kennel.
Sol is around 3 yrs old, potty trained, good with older kids, he loves to play with toys, and sit in your lap, he is a very smart boy! knows sit and down , shake, takes his treats gently, he enjoys a game of fetch. Up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchip. Sol has been waiting for almost a year in boarding, this handsome boy needs a loving home.

Shrek would love to start the New Year off right by finding his fur-ever family, he is around 7 years old, don’t let that fool you, he has the energy of a 2-year-old, shrek is a lab/hound mix. I recently took him out on a day foster trip, he needed to have a break from boarding life, he has been waiting for months for his new family to come meet him. Shrek loves to play with his ball, he would play with his big red ball for hours if you let him. Shrek and I joined another volunteer and fur dog Sol on our day trip. 🦮He seemed to enjoy the car ride once he settled down from being so excited to go for a ride, he allowed me to strap him in with a doggie seat belt to his harness, otherwise he would probably like to be your co-pilot in the front seat. He sat nicely and looked out the window.

💖Our first stop was a long walk/hike, Shrek walked amazing on leash with only some pulling to go and sniff a bush, we saw ducks, birds, and he was not interested. 🦆Shrek never reacted to other dogs, joggers, or bike riders while on our hike. He did enjoy walking in the stream of water, he thought he was cool.
Shrek is very smart and listens to commands well. He knows sit and always took his food/treats gently. He is such a pleasure to go on a hike/walk with. He would make a great hiking/jogging buddy. After our long hike, I took him for some chicken nuggets and hamburgers which he loved.

🐾Shrek is dog friendly, as always, a dog intro is required, unknown about cats. Older kids, he does forget how big he is and may knock over a little one. Don’t overlook sweet Shrek, he really is a wonderful boy!

WANTED FOSTER OR ADOPTER!!

Hey Friends,
It's me Daisy, and yes I'm as beautiful as your favorite flower🌸 I'm currently waiting for my fur-ever home in boarding, but I had a very special volunteer come and take me out for the day. Let me tell you all about it. She picked me up, I jumped right into her car and off we went. I ride very well in the car, I will be your co-pilot if you like me too. Our first stop was this really cool place with all kinds of little lake areas, it had beautiful scenery. I saw birds, lizards, ducks wasn't that interested in them. We walked up and down hills, I even got to run in the stream of water, boy that was so much fun!! I'm told I'm good on the leash, but I get excited at times and will pull, I know sit and take treats gently. There was another volunteer that met us there with a cute fur boy named Rocco, we walked well near each other, at times I would try and pull towards him, but I took correction well. Did I tell you how much I LOVE people? After our adventure we headed off to McDonalds where I enjoyed some chicken nuggets and ice cream cone. It was so YUMMY!! We had a very special day together, it was time to head back to boarding where I sit all alone waiting everyday for my special family to meet me.
I'm also house and crate trained, I enjoy playing with toys and will play a good game of fetch, after that we can snuggle and watch Netflix. A home with a backyard would be best for me.
