Meet our newest Pick Me Pet, Milo! 🐶🐾
Pick Me Pets are carefully selected by our organization because we think they’re extra special. This program allows a member of our board to grow a relationship with their matched adoptable by spending time with them and getting to know them. PMP volunteers spend at least half an hour each week with the animal and take them offsite on an Expawdition at least once a month. They also make sure the animal has accurate information in their biographies and photos so potential adopters can get the most transparent and credible perception of our friend- we want to make sure it’s a perfect match! 💕
Milo is someone who we’ve grown to love because of how much fun he is and how much he makes us smile, just from spending time with him.
Milo is definitely someone who will keep you laughing, and is great company.
He’s looking for a family who is committed to loving him just as much as he loves them back. He promises to return the favor.
Here’s a list of things you need to know about our Pick Me Pet, Milo: 🐶
🐾 He’s dog friendly and has had great meets in the past. We ask that if you have any resident pets that you introduce them to him prior to adopting to make sure it’s a good fit!
🐾 Milo is housetrained and is trying his hardest to stay that way during his time at the shelter. 🚽
🐾 Milo does great with kids who are respectful (peep some of the photos in his video 👀) 👧🧒
🐾 He’s a gentleman and a scholar (Milo has received some formal training through Petco and walks great on a leash)! 🦮
🐾 Milo is crate trained and is happy to curl up in his bed and wait for you to come home from work. 😴
Milo has been such a great friend to his volunteer pals and all of the wonderful staff during his stay @peninsula_regional_shelter but it’s time he find a family of his own to love and take care of.
