We hope all of our friends & followers have had a wonderful holiday season!🎄
As the year is coming to it’s end, PWE is preparing for a new adventure coming up in this new year!
If you have been following us and interested in booking your own wildlife experience now is the time to schedule it in as we will only be operating from the Houston-Galveston area for 1 more month!😲🙊
We are very sad to be leaving all of the great people we have had the opportunity to meet, but PWE has decided to adventure north in 2024 to continue spreading love & knowledge of wildlife! We will only be taking bookings through January 27th so hurry and give us a call to book now!

Julian wants to let you in on one of the most unique characteristics about Panther Chameleons to share with your friends & family during your holiday celebrations!🦎🎄

In the heart of Madagascar, Julian’s wild counterparts have mastered detecting prey and avoiding predators in an instant thanks to their conical eyes; They move independently of each other and can swivel almost 180 degrees allowing them to see their environment in almost 360 degrees!👀
That’s not even the coolest part. They can also transition between monocular & binocular vision! What does that mean?
👓Monocular mode: the eyes are functioning independently of each other, searching all around for their next meal while also keeping a look out for a potential predator. Two separate images from different directions can be sent to the brain at once!
Once a juicy bug is spotted…the signals from that eye get stronger and…
🕶️binocular mode is activated: the second eye switches focus and both eyes start working together locking in on the prey!
