Socialising the new Training…

As a Dog coach and behaviourist for more than 10 years I have never trained a Dog ever… They have no need for such a ridiculous, insulting way to learn…
I never use rewards, treats My methods are respect, kindness, patience and LOVE…

All dogs at Soul Monkeys have perfect recall.. perfect manners, are confident
May 2025 be a year where people will be kinder to their Dogs Animal needs… more considerate that they are pack animals and NEED to socialise…
1 hour a day that’s all they ask of you…
Give them this and they will be a perfect companion.. 🐾💚

A Happy Dog, that doesn’t overly bark, pull on the leash, can sit nicely in a cafe
Is a Dog that has his animal needs met plenty of time in Nature….plenty of time off leash socialising with other dogs…
Make 2025 a time to reconnect, throw away the self help books… stop trying to meditate and just simply get more time in nature with your best friend let them guide you on how you can be stress free…. 🐾💚

The intelligence and kindness of Animals never fails to astound me…
Yesterday on our walk… Me recovering from a sprained ankle so hobbling more than walking… Pilou who has lost his sight had wandered far to far from the pack and I was uncomfortable despite knowing he was safe and would return, I still wanted him closer.
Unable to move fast I asked Trufo (5 months) to help me… without hesitation Trufo (who could also sense I was nervous) went directly to Pilou and directed him safely back to the pack.. and for the entire walk took Pilou by the leash keeping him close…

This experience will stay in my heart forever… 🐾💚

The question should NOT be how do I stop my Dog Jumping and barking at other Dogs,..

The question should be how do I make sure that I’m the best owner to my Dog that he is happy 🐾💚… has enough socialisation, enough friends, enough stimulation….
Once you get this right you will have a Dog that doesn’t jump around and will not bark his head off at other Dogs…

Always treat others as you would like to be! 🐾💚

DOGS….. I’m often asked if they get along and it makes me very sad.To ask this question is to not have an understanding of what an amazing being a Dog is, their loyalty respect, kindness emotional intelligence and so many other qualities are far superior to that of many humans… They are not size-est breed-est, age-ist what they are is pure unconditional Love.Sadly we humans are not thinking and living from our heart ❤️
We need to change our ways our thinking, our doing, the World could be a Wonderful World… If you are a Dog owner let your Dog show you the way…. 🐾💚
