UPDATE on BOB

Bob is still in hospital. He has the appetite, eat quality food well but he hasn't put on weight at all all this time at the vet's.

The vet did further examination. Bob still has high amount of white blood cells and his pancreas isn't working well.

They changed his therapy and he still needs to be at hospital until the vet is sure the therapy works.

I decided not to go out in order not to see, because my debt is enormous!
But then, they decide to look for me! Bob waited for me in front of my workplace. She came in front of my building... Am I blessed or damned?! 🤔

Well, let's welcome her to our gang! She was perhaps used for breeding, she was severely tortured and then kicked out! She couldn't find her place in the street, she was running from place to place, she was chased (because people are afraid) and who knows what else.

She is negative to 4D tests, she's malnourished and anemic. She weighs only 29 kilos. She's terrified of human touch and getting into the car. But she is such a dear creature, she eats from hands but takes food so carefully in order not to hurt hands.

Wonderful creature ❤️ I'm so happy she's finally safe! She's been sleeping since she came here at about 2pm today. She's too tired of running away...

‼️‼️URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR ANNA AND BOB‼️‼️

As some of you are aware, two of the dogs in Nevenas care can no longer stay in their current foster home. This is devastating news, more so because before they can leave, any outstanding debts must be paid. Thankfully Rose is sponsored and has no debts but poor Anna isn’t and there is 1280 outstanding (18 months) we have received some donations so the balance is currently 1030.
A huge amount to raise in a short time.
on top of this, Nevena found a poor cat in a terrible state outside her building. Dehydrated, malnourished and uncoordinated. She of course rushed him straight to the vets.
the vet was very concerned for him, he has a severe bacterial infection, his mouth is in a terrible condition with some of his teeth missing. His lymph nodes are also very swollen. 😿
he is receiving treatment and the vet is very pleased with him so far. (The vet has named him Bob 😊) He is eating and drinking and much more alert. He will stay at the vets until he is well enough but we have no idea how long this will be. I don’t know how much the vets bills will be so have put a tentative £190 but will edit once I know.
There are also the debts for anti parasite treatment and food for the strays. 198 was the total but with deductions from donations it now stands at £174.
Nevenas debts are huge and months behind but at the moment these 3 are the priority at the moment. This is why I have made this fundraiser.
Please help me raise these funds and lessen the load that Nevena has on her shoulders at the moment.

Adopt Milla,
An elderly lady (7/8) who has been waiting for her forever home for so long (4 years in the pension)! She's calm and unnoticeable in the house.
She's not demanding. If you have a laid-back life and don't like much activity and adventure, then Milla is the right dog for you. She is calm and likes easy walks. The only thing that she loves is her food 😀 which is obvious 😜

🎉🎉🎉 THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks to YOU all one life is saved! We made it again 🎉🎉🎉 Let me tell her story in short. She was found in July, on the motorway, 43°C without food and water, dehydrated, hopeless and lethargic. She was relocated by the river where I brought her food every day. So she was named accordingly - River. She was still lethargic so I took her to the vet. Sadly, she tested positive for the heartworm. Two weeks later she was released from hospital and went to a pension. She felt much better. By the power of community, helping, sharing, spreading the word, her story touched a soul of a Belgian lady, who took her in foster two weeks ago. As you can see in the video she made herself at home already. And as I'm hearing, there is someone interested in offering her a forever home 🤫🙏 She was called Bruni, and now Lio 😀 Our River is the lucky girl. I hope she brings luck to the other Rescues!!! Good evening everyone, Just to let you know that I'm not in hospital anymore. A nice young man took me to the pension (because Nevena still can't walk 🤫). It seems alright. I met friends here and they all seem nice. I met Srecko, Luna, Grandpa Bosko and I even met Thomas who was dumped at the same spot as I! Thanks to several nice ladies my vet bill is paid and I'll be safe. I didn't ask for permission to mention them, so I will tag them later if they agree. Sleep well everyone! I'm SAFE! This is our Diamond, named after a diamond mark on his neck. He has been in the street since birth, which is about 4 years. When he was a baby, I fed them together with Simcica, Simka, Crumble and many other animals. Now, they built a building at that spot and the animals have no longer a safe place. So, Diamond perhaps entered another territory and got hurt. We saw him once limping but he was too far to catch. And then he was gone for about 10 days. Now he appeared, his injury has healed but he has a huge scar. I've just heard from the vet. She's doing alright. They still didn't get the tests for diseases so she wasn't tested. They took her blood sample and are sending it for thorough investigation. About me

Hi, I am Nevena Tomic Stojanovic, married and a mother of 2 young children. I have a full time job as a professor teaching English. Together with our small rescue dog Chloe and our black cat Max we live in Nis, the second largest city in Serbia.

In Nis you will find many dogs and cats leading their poor lives in the streets, and as animal rights is a near-to-unknown concept in my otherwise beautiful hometown, they are either kept on a short chain their whole life, and/or tortured, poisoned, abandoned and abused, and many get a one way ticket to the local pound where life is just as bad. As a fervent dog and cat lover and lover of animals in general, I found it very hard to stand by and do nothing, so in 2006 I rescued my first dog. I had fed and cared for street animals earlier too, but this was the first serious rescue, when I found 3 newborn puppies crying by the river. I took them all, fed them human baby milk with the syringe every two and a half hours day and night. Unfortunately, two of them were too weak and soon died. One survived and stayed with me for another 8 years.

And that's where my serious rescue story started. Till today I have rescued so many animals from horrible circumstances, and most of them are now living the good life in many different countries like Belgium, the UK, Denmark, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden etc. I value keeping in contact with the adopters and follow the stories of my rescues.

At this moment I have many dogs available for adoption, and they will be shared on this page. For more information on a particular dog, please send me a pm through this page and I will gladly answer your questions. The information I provide will at all times be honest and realistic so that both sides, adopters and my rescues, can enjoy their lives together.
