HOW MUCH IS A KITTEN?
😸
Let me put a few words to you, yes you, the person who inboxed just for the price. The person who called and after hearing the shocked price stated: "I can buy a cheaper cat elsewhere." I'm talking to you too; people who don't care about paper because I want "just a pet".
🐈⬛
There are no cats "only pets".
🐾 🐾 🐾
Behind every pure cat there is a BREEDER. I use capital letters to distinguish breeders from pet factory or factory. Leading breeders do not breed cats without papers, which do not protect the integrity of the breed. A registry is a pedigree record (certificate) that documents pedigree and allows one to research possible health concerns within the lineage. When you tell your Breeder you don't care about that paperwork you are really telling them is you don't Care about your cats health you just want the cheapest thing you can find! When you choose to buy a cat from a reputable, quality breeder, these breeders are responsible for the health of each cat; both the cats they own and every cat they have sold for their lifetime. These breeders will miss the holidays, sleep deprivation, and most of their private home spaces have been turned into spaces for their cats. Truly passionate breeders who love what they grow, put their whole heart and soul into it. Not only on kittens sold, but also on every client who has a piece of their heart and is now a member of their extended family. This doesn't count for kittens/kittens that may be sick or need extra help thriving. Breeders worry about their babies after they leave and will assist you for the life of the cat and take one back no questions asked.
❤️🩹🗣️
A breeder will get his/her hands dirty, often covered in everything associated with giving birth. That's what life is all about... In the middle of birth and death is life. The wheel keeps on turning. Breeders will perform tests, echos, x-rays, analysis, emergency c-section, vaccinations, register cats and children, pedigree studies, worms, as well as microchipping their kittens and have them examined by a specialist.
👩👧👧
Last but not least, a breeder CHOOSES a family lucky enough to have one of their kittens. Yes you read that right. True breeders are picky who they sell to because they don't make money from the sales. No compensation can compensate for the investments made by Breeders so they must be sure it's a fit. Many times say more no then yes... Good breeders will have different criteria for those who want to continue their bloodline, why? Because breeding is never a responsibility to be taken lightly, it's a lifestyle choice set aside ONLY for a few loyal people willing to sacrifice.
Because cats are never "just a pet", they are the Breeder's legacy, a boy's best friend, a little girl's protector, elderly therapy, family member, someone's entire world!!!
