Little man Dave has really fallen on his paws with his owner. This gorgeous boy had his first cut today and a bath in sensitive shampoo to help his skin.

I absolute adore his little face and love his cheeky personality. See you again soon lovely boy ❤.

As of Monday the 3rd of June 2024 there will be a price increase for the majority of appointments.

I know a price increase is never good news and I have tried my best to keep my prices as low as possible.
Unfortunately after absorbing the rising cost of water, electric, products and equipment for the past year it is absolutely necessary for me to have a price increase to keep the salon running as it normally does. This increase will take into account your dogs coat, behaviour, drying time etc and I am doing my best to provide a quality service at the lowest prices possible. I will send reminders a few days earlier than normal and will include the price of your next groom.

If you do not wish to keep any future appointments due to the price increase please do let me know asap.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone thats been so kind to me the past few weeks following the death of my sister, it is truly appreciated.

It is Paulas funeral tomorrow and while I will still be grooming dogs with an appointment saturday I wont be answering messages (apart from those dogs booked in Saturday) until Monday now.

I think Mr Marley enjoyed his first visit to the salon 😂 he turned into a bucking bronco! This handsome boy hasnt grown into his feet yet but he was ever so well behaved. See you again soon Marley. I'll put his "first day of school" photo in the comments 🥰

Today Golden Grooms turns 1 year old 🥳.

One year ago today I opened my salon and started grooming all your lovely dogs. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for your continued support. It's an honour to be able to spend my time doing a job I love and getting to know your pets.

This handsome chap always makes me smile 😂. I've groomed Milo since I opened and he's always so pleased to see me. He absolutely loves his pamper sessions to the point its easier to let him off than try to walk him down the drive!

I always try to make the grooming experience as fun as I possibly can for your dogs whether they are fuss, treat or toy orientated I cater for the lot!

I'm not in the salon today so ill answer any messages tomorrow when I'm back in work!

Alfie also had his first visit today, this lovely chappy was super happy to come in and trested me to lots of kisses and cuddles.

Alfie had a lot of fluff when he came in but we soon had him looking trim again! I'll look forward to see you again soon Alfie boy 💙!

Dollys first salon visit 🥺.

Dolly visited today with her big sister Bella. They had a bath together and Bella helped her get over the scary dryer!

Bella had her usual scissor tidy then made herself comfy on a bed while Dolly had her puppy package 💕.

I even managed to get a pic of them havinf a snuggle.

These two gorgeous boys visited on different days this week, I sometimes get them mixed up, they're not related, have completely different owners and arent even the same breed / mix yet they could be twins! Always a pleasure to see both Benji and Boomer 💙.

Miles had his first visit to me this week, he took smile for the camera literally 😂.

This gorgeous chap has all his feathering took short and keeps his natural topcoat. He's such a well mannered young man and I really enjoyed spending time with him.

Three dachshunds in two days! All three have been good as gold and are real credits to their owners ❤. A good start and introduction to the salon is so important for these little dogs and I'm pleased to say all three are a pleasure to work with!

It's been a hectic few weeks with some catch up from my time off over Christmas!

I'm updating my cancellation policy as, unfortunately, I've had a couple of no shows and cancellations at very short notice. These are rare occurrences and I'm so thankful for everyone’s support. However, going forward I may have to charge a fee of 50% of the missed appointment before making further bookings, to at least partly make up for the loss of earnings. Please let me know as soon as possible if you can't make your appointment.

Happy new year everyone! Hope you're all enjoying 2024 so far ❤!

I've been back at work since last Wednesday and have nearly caught up with messages so please bear with me.

I'm going to be changing a few bits of my policy in the next few weeks to keep an eye on here for those. I will be removing the card marchine as it's causing me more problems than its worth, I'll still be accepting payment by cash or by bank transfer just let me know if you need my bank details and I'll send them through.

That's a wrap🎁! Everyone is pampered and ready for Christmas, thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their pooches.

This is the last half of this weeks dogs. The salon is now closed until the 3rd of January. I wont be watching my messages as closely as usual but will still get back to you when I can!

Please note January is full, my first available appointments are in February!
