Grab a chair (for you) and a dog bed or folded blanket, and let's get started! ๐งโโ๏ธ๐ถ
1๏ธโฃ With your dog standing between your legs, ask them to give alternate paws x4 each. Remember, they should stay standing, no sitting! ๐พ
2๏ธโฃ Back up onto the dog bed and do a playbow, holding it for 3-5 seconds, x3. ๐ถ๐๏ธ
3๏ธโฃ While sitting in front of you, have your pup place alternate paws on your lap, then alternate paws back to the floor, x3. ๐โค๏ธ

We often take going up and down stairs with our dogs for grantedโuntil they face physical challenges. Mobility issues might mean we need to help them with steps for cars or couches, so it's crucial to maintain their ability to navigate stairs.
๐ช They need balance, strength, and coordination to go both up AND down!
Here's a quick routine to help:
1๏ธโฃ Stand strong with one front paw raised diagonally for 15 seconds on each side.
2๏ธโฃ Shake/high five with back feet raisedโ4 times with each paw.

**Note:** If your dog struggles with these exercises, start with a low platform. Ensure platforms are always stable for safety!
