I have a new dog to walk, a Greyhound called Sidney. Started walking him a couple of weeks ago. Never had much experience with this breed but found him very laid back who enjoys strolling...I reckon he could walk for miles 😆

With the heat continuing to rise only able to walk Gizmo who is always the first on my list, no point taking him too far luckily there is a shady field nearby 😎👍

Had to walk Buddy this heatwave weekend. So my rules are - avoid as much as possible sun hit pavements and roads, walk as much as possible in shady areas, walk as much as possible in grassy areas or fields. Make sure to have cold water at hand, allow some play and walk at a relaxed pace when on lead, have some short breaks. 😎

On days when it's cold, raining or wet Gizmo gets to wear a coat. Easy to attach and remove, it has a warm inner lining ...

On days when it's cold, raining or wet Gizmo gets to wear a coat. Easy to attach and remove, it has a warm inner lining as well as a reflective strip. He seems okay wearing it but probably prefers when the coat is not required 😊👍

Today I had 3 dogs to walk,one of them was my friend Dexter. The owner notified me he was limping so I made sure he had a short and slow walk on a lead but he still struggled so took him home and kept him company. He does like company so he relaxed in the garden with me by his side. Took some pics but chose one for this post which reflects our friendship
