Thank Dog for weekends with puppies! These puppies were born in Rescue approximately 12 weeks ago. Moose, Willow, Buffy, and Ash Leigh are all looking for a home. Moose is such a love and the only male puppy in the litter weighing approx 6 #. He loves to run around with his sisters, chase bugs, find a stray stick…everything is a toy. He wants to play with cats, kittens and other known dogs. Willow was the runt of the litter and the last one born but that hasn’t stopped her! Whatever the others give her, she gives it back twice over. She weighs just over 4 #. She is great at playing with cats, kittens and other dogs. Buffy loves to play and is very curious. She was the first born of the litter and weighs approximately 6.5 # She enjoys being outside, exploring and sunbathing. Buffy gets along with cats, kittens and other dogs. Ash Leigh is a loving independent little girl weighing just under 6 #. She loves to play with the group or play alone, she just loves to play. She loves the outside. She gets along with cats, kittens and dogs. None of these pups have been around children, but would be great with respectful kids 10+. They are all spayed/neutered, chipped, and utd on puppy vaccs. They are doing well with potty training but will definitely need continued positive support as they are just babies still. Mom is a border terrier mix and these pups appear to have some Pug or Puggle with a smooth coat. None of the puppies have conquered stairs yet; they are curious but no one is curious enough to be the first to go up or down. They do enjoy a fenced yard but an apartment with an active family would work for them. If you’re interested in meeting one of these cute pups, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Their adoption fee is $425 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Snicker is a quiet and calm spirit. She’s a purebred Australian Shepherd who’s approx 1 y/o and 39 #. She walks nicely on leash, is crate trained, and is potty trained. She loves to follow her person everywhere and is still a bit suspicious of strangers. Snicker came from a situation with very little human interaction but is sweet and gentle with us bipeds. Everything is new to her still. She would be best with someone who will continue her training, build her confidence, and help her to understand the world. She is untested with cats or kids but a respectful child 12+ may be considered. Snicker will come out of her shell faster with another friendly dog in the home for her to learn the ropes from but she’s not a fan of young overzealous dogs. A secure fenced in yard is required for Snicker. If you’re interested in meeting Snicker, the first step is to complete our meet and get application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Snicker is spayed, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. Her adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Buster is a little sweetheart looking for his forever home! He is approximately 3 years old, 20 lb, guessing chiweenie/terrier mix. He was found as a stray in Texas and spent a few months in the shelter but immediately settled into life in his foster home here in Colorado where he loves sitting on or near his humans and rolling over for belly rubs. He is house-trained and has not had any accidents in his foster home. He is accustomed to a fenced yard but he also does a great job on leashed walks so he does not necessarily need a fenced yard if his humans are able to take him for potty walks several times a day. However, he does bark occasionally so shared walls may not be a good fit for him if his humans are gone long hours. He is also crate trained. He sleeps through the night in his crate and goes into his crate when home alone. He is dog-friendly and kid-friendly with respectful kids 6+. He has not been tested with cats. He will need to be watched when opening the door to outside; he will try to run away and he will push through any loose fence gates or doors. Overall, he is a little sweetie who will do anything for a belly rub! If you are interested in meeting Buster, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check and meet with everyone in the home. Buster is neutered, UTD on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is 375 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Thank Dog it’s the weekend! Apple and his brother were found dumped in the desert in NM when they were just babies. They are approx 6 months old now and 20 #. We believe that they are Basset/Cowboy Corgi mixes. Apple has a very sweet demeanor and loves being near his people. Apple is good with other dogs, respectful children 6+, and strangers. He has not been tested with cats. He enjoys snuggling with his human, chewing on bully sticks, and getting frozen kong toys. Apple requires a secure fenced in yard with humans who aren’t gone long hours. He is nearly potty trained but needs to be let out often and late at night to do his final business. Apple will sleep in or out of his crate. He has learned to walk on a leash and is doing great. He loves to eat which is good because he needs to gain some more weight. Apple will often try and steal food so he needs to be monitored if there’s another dog. He can be a bit introverted and shy at first but warms quickly with soft talk and snacks. He will do well in a structured suburban or rural environment with active humans and lots of attention. A basic puppy training class would do wonders to build his confidence. If you’re interested in meeting Apple, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms as the first step. We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Apple is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

This beautiful soul will love her person with all her heart. Kit is a purebred Australian Shepherd. She’s approx 1 y/o, 30 #, house trained, crate trained, uses the doggie door, and is doing well with leash training. Kit came from a situation with ZERO human interaction so it is imperative that her new person understands the importance of keeping her on a leash at all times and patience when she might not understand things we take for granted like going through doorways or counter surfing. She will blossom with someone who will give her the confidence and love she needs and deserves to grow and flourish. Kit is not kid or cat tested but an older respectful child 12+ may be considered. Kit will come out of her shell faster with another friendly dog in the home for her to learn the ropes from. She’s basically a 3 month old puppy on the learning curve of doggie life. A secure fenced in yard is required for Kit. If you’re interested in meeting Kit, the first step is to complete our meet and get application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Kit is spayed, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. Her adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Thank Dog it’s the weekend! Casper is a special needs pup who is an energetic and lovable corgi/mini aussie mix. He is 20lbs, but at only 7 months he might have a little growing left to do. Casper is deaf but that doesn’t slow him down. This little guy was surrendered to a local shelter and is now in search of a forever home that is committed to learning (or already knows) a few signs to help communicate with him. He is already learning the basics and his foster mom says he is one of the smartest pups around. Casper loves to play fetch, wrestle with toys, and enjoys some cuddles on the couch once he finally wears out. He does well on walks and loves getting the chance to get out, explore the world, sniff all the things, and make new friends. He can still be mouthy while playing (he is a puppy after all), and he is working on learning to always grab a toy first. Casper would do best with someone who isn’t gone long hours, and we will give preference to a home with another active dog who will be his playmate. As a high energy dog, it will be important for him to get both physical and mental stimulation. He requires a fenced yard to help keep him safe, no cats, and kids 12+. High energy herding breed experience is preferred. If you are interested in meeting Casper the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Casper is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $425 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Meet Willie! This playful pup is almost 10 months old, born on January 19, 2024, and he’s ready to bring tons of puppy energy into his new home. Willie is neutered, crate trained, and mostly potty trained (though he’ll do best with regular outdoor breaks). He's a dog-friendly guy who would thrive with a playful dog buddy to help him burn off some energy—but his lively personality might be a bit much for older dogs who prefer a calmer companion.

Willie is still working on his manners, like leash training and not jumping up to greet people, so he’ll need a patient home to guide him through his puppy stages. He’s also learning to be braver with loud or unfamiliar noises, slowly discovering that not everything is scary.

Since he can be quite bouncy, Willie’s ideal home will be one without young kids; he’d do best with children 10 years or older. He hasn’t been tested with cats. Willie loves following his people around the house and isn’t one to be left out of the action! He’s not a barker, but he does like to carry shoes around, so watch out for your footwear.

Willie will need a home with a secure, fenced yard where he can safely explore and play—no apartments, please. His ideal family will also have the time and patience to continue his training and provide him with plenty of mental and physical stimulation. If you’re ready for a spirited, fun-loving companion, Willie just might be the perfect match!

Nala was returned to Rescue after almost 2 years because she and the other female dog in the home weren’t getting along. Nala was surrendered to a local shelter emaciated with a mouthful of rotten teeth. The shelter was so concerned that they feared Nala’s time was limited so they reached out to Rescue. As weeks passed, we came to realize that Nala’s condition was more neglect than anything else. She has had a dental, her bloodwork has improved (should still continue to be monitored), and she has gained weight and continues to look and feel healthier everyday. Nala is a sweet and cuddly 8.5 y/o 13 # lap dog. She is happiest snuggled up next to you while getting lots of love. Nala is housetrained and will sleep in her kennel or human bed quietly through the night. Nala walks very nicely on a leash, too. She is very food motivated and will sit for treats. Nala gets along well with other dogs and seems fine with cats. We are looking to place her with male dogs only. She plays well with puppies. Nala can be a bit vocal when she is watching birds and dogs walking by with their humans, so she would do best in a single family home with a fenced in yard rather than an apartment. She is used to her human being home during the day so she’s looking for a home whose human isn’t gone long hours. Nala would do ok with older respectful children 10+. Nala is looking for humans who she can snuggle with and who will give her the best of everything that she missed out on during the first years of her life. If you are interested in meeting Nala, THE FIRST STEP is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Nala’s adoption fee is $350 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

These puppies were born in Rescue approximately 9 nine weeks ago. Aspen is a sweet little girl weighing approximately 5 #. She loves to snuggle her face in your neck. She loves to play and roll around outside with her littermates. She loves cats, kittens, and other dogs. She has never met kids but should do well with respectful children 10+. Aspen is spayed, chipped, and utd on her puppy vaccs but will need her third puppy vaccs if she’s adopted before 11/13. She is doing well with potty training but will definitely need continued positive support as she’s just a baby still. Mom is a border terrier mix and Aspen appears to have some Pug or Puggle with longer hair and is longer and coarse along her back. None of the puppies have conquered stairs yet; they are curious but no one is curious enough to be the first to go up or down. They do enjoy a fenced yard but an apartment with an active family would work for them.
