Thank Dog it’s the weekend! Buffy is about 4 ½ months old. She loves to play and is very curious. She was the first born of the litter. She enjoys being outside exploring and sunbathing. Buffy gets along with cats, kittens and other dogs. She has not been around children but would be great with respectful children 10+. She is spayed, chipped, and utd on her puppy vaccines. She is doing well with potty training but will definitely need continued positive support as she’s just a baby still. Mom is a border terrier mix and Buffy appears to have some Pug or Puggle with longer hair and more coarse hair down her back. She does enjoy a fenced yard but an apartment with an active family would work for her. If you’re interested in meeting Buffy, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Buffy’s adoption fee is $425, and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Chiquita is a young KS farm girl who craves human love and attention. She is approx 2y/o, 25 #, and has beautiful markings of a Blue Heeler.
- would do well as the only dog in house but also is friendly with the foster's dogs
- ideally someone who can be home majority of the time
-requires a 5-6 ft privacy fence since this girl can jump
- needs an owner who is patient and takes things slow to help her build her confidence and show her she is safe
- doesn’t like loud noises or a hectic household
- sleeps in her kennel
- food and treat motivated
-should be crated or gated when humans are gone at least in the beginning
- likes to snuggle and lay on the couch and bed but also likes to hang out in her kennel
- does well on leash, doesn’t pull, but still easily spooked by people, noises, cars, and other dogs.
- knows how to use doggy door and is house trained
- may mark inside in the beginning
-a very quick and eager learner and starts to learn tricks incredibly fast.
- she doesn't bark at all, but it could still be the low confidence issue, which might change
-Fearful of men at first so will need a female caregiver in her new home
-Not cat or kid tested but calm, respectful children 8+ may be considered
-Spayed, utd on vaccs, chipped, HW-
If you’re interested in meeting Chiquita, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Chiquita’s adoption fee is $375 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Jerry is a silly, happy and fun guy! He’s approximately 4 years old and 35 pounds. He’s a bit goofy looking as he’s got a Flat Coat Retriever head, body and tail, but Basset Hound legs! We have sent in a Wisdom Panel to find out for sure what mix he is. He would love a young, playful, canine companion in his new home, but he would also do well as an only dog. He enjoys walks, naps on the couch and would be a great hiking buddy. He is rock solid on potty training and can be left free reign in your home because he's not a fan of the crate if you are not home, but strangely enough, he goes straight into his crate for bedtime sleep. He would like a fenced yard to play in, but he could be in a shared wall home as well. Jerry loves to cuddle on his foster mom’s bed and can go up and down the stairs easily. He also runs around the backyard playing with his foster brothers/sisters. Jerry loves other dogs and cats but should be fed separately from other dogs in your home. He is very particular about his food. Jerry would also prefer a home with children older than 10 years old. Jerry is neutered, utd on vaccines, HW-, and chipped. If interested in meeting Jerry and giving him an opportunity at an amazing life with his true forever home, you can complete our application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms as the first step. We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Jerry’s adoption fee is $350.00 and we are not doing any out of state adoptions.

Thank Dog it’s the weekend! Fancy is a Chihuahua and Mini American Shepherd mix. She is almost 3 years old and weighs 20 pounds. She has beautiful brindle coloring and has a petite but taller body. Fancy was on the euthanasia list (pregnant) in a shelter in Texas due to space constraints. She had 4 puppies at the end of August right after we sprang her. She is very happy, kind, gentle, and playful. She loves to play with other happy playful dogs. She is very much a puppy at heart and enjoys toys. Now that she's done being a mama, she gets very excited to play with her babies especially when she’s outside! Another favorite pastime is chasing squirrels and bunnies. She is completely potty trained and loves going in and out the doggy door on her own. She loves human contact and enjoys curling up on the couch to snuggle, hopefully touching her person. She also loves to cuddle up on the bed at night to sleep. Fancy wants to be wherever her human is. She has a very sweet, laid-back disposition. Fancy enjoys kisses and hugs as well as trying to pull her foster mom’s socks off her feet! She should do well with dog savvy cats but she thinks they are fun to chase and bark at. She loves older kids 10+ and has not been tested around younger children. Fancy would do best with a secure fenced yard. While she appreciates daily walks and is learning to be good on a leash, she loves to run with the zoomies. Fancy is a flight risk due to her curiosity and her love of running; she currently does not have a good recall. She needs a secure privacy fence as she can jump over 3 ½ feet high. Fancy wants a home with humans who will include her in their daily activities and talk to her. Fancy is spayed, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. She was infested with ticks while living in Texas and tests slightly positive for Ehrlichia and anaplasmosis but has been asymptomatic. These are non contagious tick borne diseases. Her new family should monitor her for any signs of lameness, fever, or lethargy. If she exhibits those symptoms she needs an immediate visit to the vet. This is something that will have to be monitored for the rest of her life. She may never have these symptoms, then again, she could; there isn’t any way to predict it. Her veterinarians have stated that there isn’t any reason she can’t live a full happy life regardless.
If you’re interested in meeting Fancy, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Fancy’s adoption fee is $375, and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Lenny was picked up by the PoPo, found himself in a KS shelter, no came looking for him, and he wants to tell you all about it. This stunning floofernutter is approx 9 months old and a thin 29 #. We believe that he is Corgi mixed with Australian Shepherd given his long soft Aussie-like coat that will require more than average grooming. Lenny has a very sweet demeanor and loves being near his people. Lenny is good with other dogs and preference will be given to a home with another playful dog who enjoys multiple romping sessions per day. Lenny would likely be overwhelming for a senior dog. He has not been tested with cats or kids but due to his temperament respectful children 8+ will be considered. He enjoys snuggling with his human, running in the yard with his foster brothers and sisters, and chewing on toys and bully sticks. His only dislike so far is being in the crate which is foster is working on. Lenny requires a secure fenced in yard with humans who aren’t gone long hours. He is not a good fit for an apartment situation. He is mostly potty trained when let out often and will need a refresher course in a new home with a new routine and gentle reminders to mark outdoors only. Lenny sleeps in a dog bed but wouldn’t mind the human bed. He knows how to walk on a leash and is doing great. He will do well in a medium active home with active humans and lots of attention. A beginner training class would do wonders to build his confidence and help him learn basic puppy manners. If you’re interested in meeting Lenny, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms as the first step. We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Lenny is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $425 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Thank Dog it’s the weekend! Casper is a special needs deaf pup who is an energetic and lovable corgi/mini aussie mix. He is 22lbs and 10 months old. Since he is deaf, Casper is learning signs for commands. He has already learned the basics like “sit” and “come” and his foster mom says he is one of the smartest pups around. He is a double merle and was born deaf as a result, but Casper has no idea that he is different from any other dog. He has a silly and affectionate personality with a hint of mischievousness. He loves to play fetch, chase, and tug of war, but is also more than happy to cuddle on the couch at the end of the day. He does great walking on leash and enjoys getting out to explore the world, sniff all the things, meet new people, and make new dog friends. Casper is still working on crate training and would do best with someone who would be home most of the time as he is stressed when left alone too long. His dream home would have another active dog who likes to play, and herding breed experience is preferred. As a high energy dog, it will be important for him to get both physical and mental stimulation. He requires a fenced yard to help keep him safe, no cats, and kids 12+. If you are interested in meeting Casper the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Casper is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $425 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Hi All.
We're again reaching out for fosters for purebred Corgis that we are being asked to take in. We are in desperate need of foster homes in the Denver metro area (Loveland to COS) with no other pets and no small children. Please have reasonable expectations when offering to foster a dog. They may bark, they may chew, they may p*e. Apartments are not ideal due to barking.

While we wish we could say "yes" to every plea, our limited foster availability means we simply can’t. We’re an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue doing this work out of love (and maybe a little craziness!). Like you, we have jobs, families, and our own dogs, yet we open our homes to unwanted foster dogs because we believe every life matters.

With more foster homes, we could save even more dogs. Yes, fostering can bring extra stress, mess, and late nights—but it also brings an incredible sense of purpose. Every dog we say "yes" to is given a second chance at life, and that’s worth everything.

If you’ve fostered or adopted from us before, email us at [email protected].

New to fostering? Visit corgisandfriends.com, click the Forms tab, and submit a foster application.

Thank you for your support. Together, we can make a difference!
