Doggy birthday cake time with Lulu’s friends!

🍋We adopted this sweet girl last May and today is her seventh birthday! Lulu has brought us so much happiness! Two weeks after her adoption, she had surgery to have two metal plates put on both of her front legs. It was a pretty serious surgery especially for such a tiny dog. Those first few weeks and even months were pretty bumpy but she’s a little fighter and never let it slow her down! She has an immune disorder called IMPA that causes her body to attack her joints. One of her front paws was literally dangling and looked like it was going to fall off. She has come such a long way. Her surgeon has been really impressed with her progress. Lulu hasn’t met a person or a dog that she doesn’t like yet. Her favorite things are belly rubs, snuggles, and cheese. Happy Birthday to our little Lulu Lemons, Luli, Lulu Lemon Cakes, Lulu Bean, Lulu Lemmies. (The nicknames are endless 😂). We look forward to many more birthdays with our sweet girl!🍋

Five years ago today we adopted our Asher Beans! It was an amazing way to start off a new year! We love her more than words can describe. We couldn’t do this job without her! Happy ‘Gotcha Day’ baby girl!

Meet Asher’s new sister, 🍋Lulu🍋! We adopted Ms. Lulu in May. She’s a 6.5 year old Maltipoo. She loves snuggles, belly rubs, and cheese. She has a genetic disorder that required her to have surgery on June 6th. She’s a fighter and has been doing great. We go for weekly bandage changes and the staff just loves her! The colors are fun too. Which color do you think looks best on her? 😁
