Hi everyone!! Long post coming right up! While I may not completely agree with everything in this photo, that’s okay! This bring awareness & starts a conversation. Of course I am a promoter of dog apparel and dog coats, but am I going to tell you they are mandatory? Absolutely not. Myself & Hank are out about everyday for our walks in rain, shine, sleet or snow ❄️. I grew up on an acreage with “farm dogs” that were outside pretty much everyday of their lives 🤷🏼‍♀️ and they did just fine in the cold, as people would argue, that’s their way of life. When my partner and I got Hank, we made it our goal and a priority to make sure he is active everyday. Being a Saskatchewanian we know winter lasts half the year 😅 Hank was doing just fine in the -30 weather but I wanted the extra protection just in case as we are out daily for hour(s) at a time, a peace of mind for myself, and well, I wanted him to be fashionable. Just as parents, we want to make the right choices for our babies. If you find yourself on my page, I know that the love you have for your sweet pup has brought you here. If you feel that your dog needs a coat, get one. If you think that your dog is okay without one, that’s fine too! Fashion purposes only? Hey, double whammy, it’ll keep them warm as well. If you love your pet, do right by them and do what you think is best for you and your lifestyle! Let’s support the (good) choices of all of our fellow pet owners & know that we are not all alike and that’s ok! If you’ve made it this far, I will soon be posting patterns for jackets & will be taking preorders! Have a wonderful night 😌💗

My sweet friends & .dunnigan foster through & let me know that their foster pup Otis was unhappy with the weather we’ve been having in Saskatoon and did NOT want to go outside to go to the bathroom. Aunty Sky was able to come to the rescue & provide a jacket for him, and apparently he’s loving it! Isn’t his big bro Moose so handsome? We love him so much ❤️
