When we created WidgPet, we wanted to help organizations and individuals when fostering pets. We developed features like a Fostering widget and a sharing function that simplify the tracking of data for an animal. We hope you find value in what we’ve built. We use it every day with our fosters.

Fostering an animal is one of the most rewarding things we’ve ever done. And how do we know that? Besides the pride we feel for the progress our fosters make, our phones still hold pretty much every photo of their time with us.

In the spirit of that, let us introduce Harry (as he was known during his time with us). We fostered him for Pasadena Humane in 2020. He was found under a car with a fractured hip joint. In spite of a somewhat rough start to life, he was the sweetest, most loving kitten who wanted nothing more than spend time with us - whether sleeping or playing.

Harry, now known as Fern, was adopted by a perfect home where he continues to live his best life. And while we miss him every day, we couldn’t be happier for him.

In honor of we bring you 🦄 our new foster in the crew. Just 2 weeks ago, Gouda was on the dreaded list at the shelter after being there for almost a year, but and rallied for this gorgeous girl. She’s come a long way since that first photo in a short period of time. She’s crate trained, is living with 2 other dogs, and an all around great dog.
