Video from shows firefighters extinguishing a blaze at 12:50 A.M. this morning, from which two cats were rescued. Multiple people were displaced after the fire tore through two apartments. No injuries were reported.

Was at Altered Tails this morning dropping off the 4 I caught. I got mama, 2 babies, and a cat I have never seen before! Hopefully tonight we can get more kittens!

On the fence about what to do when you spot a litter of kittens? Please, leave them alone and don't kit-nap kittens!

This time of year, the Arizona Humane Society and other rescue organizations are always flooded with calls about kittens and puppies. Many well-meaning animal lovers spot a litter they believe has been orphaned and rush to the aid of these fragile felines. But the best thing you can do is usually to leave the kittens alone. Mom is typically nearby looking for food (after all she's got extra mouths to feed now). She will likely return shortly, and it’s critical that the kittens remain in her care as she offers the best chance for survival.

Thank you all for liking this page! Most of you know I have a passion for saving kittens/cats. Most of you also know I lost my daughter at too young of an age. I believe she would have followed in my footsteps, so this rescue is in part to honor her and in part to help heal my soul by saving felines.
