I know that the last time i posted i promised a guide to rabbit breeding as seen through my experiences. However, I've been struggling with low engery and low well everything lately but not to worry i will be working on it again. For now please enjoy a winter tip! Since there's no fresh hay during winter I use hay cubes usually meant for horses or large farm animals but rabbits love them too! Some people claim that cubes are too hard for rabbits teeth but in reality it helps keep their teeth trimmed! Rabbits teeth constantly grow like nails they need slightly harder feed to keep them from getting too long!

Finally! I finished the rough draft of the big project for this page! Soon I'll be publishing my personal guide to breeding rabbits! It will be in slide shows based on chapters! There will be 7 chapters in total! It was kinda difficult to put my experiences and thoughts into writing which is why it took me so long! I hope the it doesn't come across as an adhd mess and is actually helpful to some people!

If you’re interested in getting a rabbit for the first time in recommend this little booklet! Its from 2001 so a few minor things are out dated but for the most part its a very good and helpful guide. The minor things that are incorrect are: it says that rabbits are easy to care for they are in fact hard to care for due to how sensitive their bodies are, rabbits are clean animals no they are very dirty animals, you can train them with cat litter and a cat box you can use a cat box but do not use clay cat litter!, they talk about using hutches i personally don’t use them, and some stuff on breeding is kind of incorrect but i will touch on that in another post.

I have been a bun mom for 4 years now and i love all my fur babies.. However, there are too many buns to care for. I am giving a few to my high school friend and her friend that do breeding. They promised me that they won’t kill or harm them but they won’t be able to take them until the spring. One of my does (female rabbits are called does) just had a litter on the 27th of December and i have another doe building a nest now. If someone wants some rabbits let me know. Please don’t kill them, eat them, feed them to your pets or harm them in anyways! It’s hard for me to trust and let go but i need to give them to a home that has room for them.
