Pony's parentage and breeding is completely unknown to me (but fun fact, he has a twin!) When he first got here, I thought he might just be a paint pony, but as he meets more people, I keep hearing that he looks a little bit drafty. He *is* a thicc boy and I personally think his face resembles a haflinger, so today curiosity has gotten the better of me and I'm sending away his hairs for DNA testing.

Anyone want to guess his breed breakdown?

Ginuwine aka “Pony” is a 2021 14hh grade pony gelding. Adorable, good minded and lovely to be around. Pony is a nice mover with a naturally balanced and ground covering canter. I think this could be a very nice all around pony for someone, but I think Pony would make a nice dressage pony or eventer.

Has been off the farm and introduced to water and small XC jumps.

Pony LOVES people and a very fun, gentle personality. Barefoot, easy keeper, and a pleasure to have in the barn. Pony is good minded, but young, green and forward thinking so needs an experienced rider.

🎅🎄⛄ It's time!

Pony was a PERFECT angel for his first ride off the farm. He loaded like a champ, trailered over perfectly, unloaded and stood nicely to be tacked, then went around the whole parking seeing all sorts of new sights: dogs, deer, foxes. He led, he followed, he crossed the water (enthusiastically). He walked, trotted, cantered and jumped his way around the farm park without batting an eye at ANYTHING! We had the most fun today. Someone is going to get themselves an awesome pony ❤️

stayed busy at the 2024 Equine Affaire - with multiple demos, a pair in the versatile horse and rider competition, clinics, presentations and 4 in the breed bonanza, there were plenty of Standardbreds to see this weekend!
