Mamacita heads back to Petsmart after a little cage break. We very much enjoyed hosting this sweetheart in our home!

How I safely worked on socializing Martha from behind a glass door.
George (still looking for a forever home!) was a little nervous when he first got here even though he’s never been anything but super sweet. He decided to go into hiding for a few days. When I finally located him, he went back into his crate. George has been released again from the crate to roam and still prefers hiding away to rest, but always comes out of hiding to greet me as soon as I enter the room now. 🥰
Started with a hiss and ended with meows!! She said ooohhh no no no to pets though. 🙅🏻♀️
Please excuse her mess of a cage. 😬 This was first thing in the morning before cleaning.
Colony caretakers
To me, caretakers are the true heroes of unowned, outdoor cats. They are there day in and day out. It doesn’t matter if it’s snowing or raining or 100 degrees, they make sure their “babies” are fed and watered. They deal with so many things many of us will never understand. But they do it for the love of the kitties and we thank each and every one of them. ❤️
Release
Happy life big fella! 🎉
• No more baby-making.
• No more dangerous fighting over females.
• No more desire to roam for miles for a female in heat, encountering all kinds of risks along the way.
• No more risk of testicular cancer.
• No more testosterone to rule your life!
“Retirement” comes at only 1 year old for this guy. 🖤 Spay and neuter only offers BENEFITS to every cat.
Not how trapping is SUPPOSED to go, but sure makes for a funny post. 😂😂😂😂
*For people just joining our page, we are a trap-neuter-return organization that have been trapping cats and educating folks all over the country for years. We were not searching for advice or trapping tips; just wanted to share the funny occurrence. But, any good ideas are always great to share! When you randomly see a cat, sometimes you have to work with what you have on-hand. We applaud Kirsten for making the attempt! But we see this cat’s unimpressed face. 🤨
Video 🎥 compliments of Kirsten’s efforts today.
Update: TT returned home today!
TT was originally picked up the earlier part of November as an injured stray. I thought he was going to be a simple neuter, stitch, antibiotic, return - shows you how much I know! 🙄
Due to the large amount of dead tissue they discovered, a large amount of skin had to be removed from his back side! 😬🫣 Poor TT. Sutures, cone, cage rest - the whole nine yards! ❤️🩹 He is actually good to be returned now, but due to the weather conditions, we are going to hold him until Damon returns after the holidays to try him out with his indoor kitties. 👏🏼
He's been recovering with us and we recently let him venture out into the cat room with some of the other fosters. 😻 As you can see he has integrated just fine!
HUGE shout out to Damon + Melissa for their generous contribution to TT's care while he's been with us. 🤎🤎 I'm overjoyed when a stray cat wanders to the right house to find love.
