A quick update on Savannah's dilute black tri boy ;) . The 1st of his kind here. 3 weeks, 1 day and blue eyes, we think. His level of sweetness is off the charts! He does have a wonderful home waiting for him, for those who may be wondering.

(Another update, as of 11/2/24: 5 of Savannah's pups have been reserved...remaining are her 2 black tri's, one male and one female ;) )

Update!

Savannah's litter is thriving...and ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) has begun.

We are making our way through the waitlist.

The 2 merle girls have been reserved, at this point.

Last night, we had two particularly (genetically) unique puppies arrive, from Savannah & Nikola.

Both are genetic dilutes, which basically means what would normally appear as a dark base coat color (aka: black or brown) has a muted tone, instead.

This particular boy is a BLACK tri dilute!

We are attaching two pics of how he looks currently, followed by a few pics of what his coat should look like, both as an older puppy and as an adult. None of the three pics posted after his are dogs from our program. They are just examples of dilutes.

Gorgeous coloration ;) !!!

He's the first of his kind, at Oak Savannah Aussies, as is his sister...Savannah's red merle dilute girl.

Good morning!

Savannah's temp is at 98°, so her pups should be arriving today...or, more likely, overnight (YAY for us...IF that happens lol!).

Her belly's trimmed, she's actively nesting and is as comfy as she can be, all things considered.

She still has an appetite but, because she's a Luna daughter, this is not particularly surprising!

Fingers crossed for a healthy, robust litter...and a successful livestream.

Hello everyone ;) ! A quick announcement.

Savannah (crossed with Nikola) is due to deliver her pups as early as...well...as early as yesterday (and as late as the 30th)!

She's really big!

Possibilities are: red tri's, black tri's, blue merles & red merles.

We DO plan to livestream the birth here and will begin posting
updates, as things unfold further.

This is not the first (or even second) litter for either of them BUT it IS their first together...so we're very excited!

Yesterday was really fun!!!

Not only did Sully (formerly Teddy, from Luna x Quinn) go to his new AMAZING home with Chris and Shara, but Gus (out of Nikola & Annie) was reunited with his daddy after about a year. Just a slight family resemblance, we'd say lol.

Kinda' seems like they were happy to see one another again...

OSA Family Reunion 2024

OSA Families/puppies came back to their birth home and reconnected with some of their siblings. The dog yard turned into an Aussie park where they romped, played and ran. It was pure joy!

Two of our family members brought their skills and talents and provided mini classes on massage, nutrition, training and agility! Huge shout out to Megan Beisner and Amanda Hedberg! You both provided professional thoughtful lessons to help our Aussie families thrive.

It's hard to describe the feeling of how proud I am to see the puppies we raised and how well they are progressing with their families. My heart is full.

Get ready for a double dose of cuteness! These two little sweethearts need forever families to shower them with love. They enjoy lap cuddles and are ready to go to homes on October 9. Share away!

The pups were started with ENS (early neurological stimulation) and are being raised with Puppy Culture. These two are showing confidence with any new challenge I give them. They enjoy eye contact and are quite expressive with their emotions through their bodies and eyes. They will be taught manding (collected energy), their names and key words before they go to their forever homes.

They have started to learn stairs and are well on their ways to having excellent body awareness. They love to play with their siblings but really enjoy hanging out with their humans, interacting and following us around. If you enjoy hugs, these two already use their bodies to show affection.

They are registered AKC Australian Shepherds with expected weights around 38-42 pounds. Both puppies are male. Copper eyes expected on Teddy.

Good morning!

Cher and I are at the MN State Fair today (in shifts), along with a few of our OSA FAM members and their pups/dogs, if any of you are in attendance and would like to stop by (the Pet Pavillion) and say, "Hi!" ;) . She's there now and I'll arrive around 2, and will be there until 8.

It's shaded under a roof, with a very large overhead fan (not including the two we'll have running in/on the platform)...
