Special story alert!

Sally Finchala called us after the sudden loss of her brother, Bob, in a scuba diving accident while vacationing in Hawaii. Sally and her brother often traveled together, always seeking new adventures such as hiking, scuba and sailing. She felt the love of an Aussie puppy would help her to heal. Sally is planning to bring her puppy on similar life adventures, in lieu of her brother.

It seems she has found her perfect pup through Charlie and Nikola (lovingly named "Bobby" ❤️).

If you are on our waitlist, fear not! There are puppies coming soon (Luna is due March 2) ;) .

Additionally, we have four girls in heat currently (not that we'll breed all of them at this time...but we are making decisions).

Rhona x Quinn litter is definitely planned...

"The babies come when they are ready.". This phrase resonates in my mind, as I contemplate my patience with the impending arrival of Charlie's pups.

It was 5:53AM and she was next to my bed in her favorite open crate, all comfy and showing little-to-no signs of discomfort.

I kept pondering, though...what can I do to encourage this to move along? Does she need or want more privacy? There are 5 other dogs in the bedroom with me...is this a problem ;) ? Does she want me to go into the whelping room with her? Do I just continue to lay here, waiting for a sign?

Well...6:01AM arrived and I got my sign! I heard her get up and walk to the whelping room door!

Waylon (Savannah x Nikola) is living it up in Bemidji, as of yesterday.

Some of you may recall that Waylon is one of just two dilutes ever produced here (the other being Ember, from the same litter). He is technically a black tri, but his black is a gray-brown.

"Winston" (Savannah x Nikola) left us just over an hour ago.

He's a highly affectionate, curious, very intelligent boy and is a testament to how true the saying, "You get out what you put in." really is.

Early on, we noticed Winston was more shy than his littermates...so we made it a point to bring him out of his shell and...well...he is basically shell-less now ;) .

Pups are so malleable...
