Thanks Everyone for such a beautiful day! We were so impressed with all of our new friends who came to pick up their pups today. All the excitement was a bit much for these babies so that by the end of the day they were passing out. As always we felt incredibly blessed

Jennifer & Madelyn & Lilly are taking Tallulah (purple collar) to her new home in Dearborn MI. I think that the intent is to start their training in a crate but I predict that this baby will end up in one of their beds before the night is over. Nicole & Ben and their beautiful children selected Nash, the (orange Collar) boy. The kids did not know that they would be picking up a puppy and this precious moment will be forever remembered. We appreciate you allowing us to be a part of this special union. Nash will be living in St Johns MI.

Rebecca & Graham are already a part of the Divine Family and adopted a boy, Gus from 3.5 years ago. They have returned and have chosen a girl (Lt. Blue) whom they are naming Lemon. "GOTCHA DAY" is taking place as Gracie's puppies prepare to go to their new homes today. Puppies are a bit disrupted by the changed morning schedule and going without food that helps as each take the long journey home. Folks will start arriving at 10am for one hour appointments in the order of reservations made and will spend time playing with and making their difficult choice. Bitter sweet day for us as we say goodbye to our babies that we have spent 8 weeks loving and working with BUT a great day as we meet the beautiful new families that will take these precious pups into their homes.

SUNNY & NORMAN pups will be 2 weeks old tomorrow. Will try and get a video of these beautiful pups that are just opening their eyes. Really growing and plumping up nicely. This is such a fun stage.

DOLLY OUR NANNY: Occasionally we observe a unique special trait with one of our dogs. Dolly has a mothers heart. She LOVES babies. As a first time mom I noticed her unusual mothering tendencies with her own babies. After her babies went to their new homes, if I've ever seen a dog go into mourning it was her. Soon, two of our moms had their own babies. From the start she would follow me around and march right into the whelping room and into the spot where the babies were and actually begin loving on them...laying down with them, washing them...barking with them, just super excited. As I have moved these older pups outside...she cannot get enough of them. She helps me bring them out...plays with them, and most importantly guards them all day long. She brings food to them, and toys to play with...trying to stick them through the fence. Her day is spent with her nose glued to their noses trying to keep them clean and entertained...and they love it. She even tries to let them nurse her...though she has nothing to offer them. This is something I never get tired of...I LOVE our beautiful dogs and it is that temperament we strive to build upon in all of our puppies.
