I would like to thank everyone who attended and supported our double show along with the Erin Cat Club. We had exhibitors traveling from as far as Cork, England and Scotland. That’s what I call dedication!

Thank you to Ross, Richard and Dawn from Penpals who provide us with the penning for the show and setting it up like a well oiled machine. I especially loved the GCCF purple drapes this year. It looked very smart!

A big thank you to Mary Davidson and Royal canine who sponsor our show every year, giving the exhibitors lots of extra goodies.

Thank you to all our Judges who traveled from far and wide, giving up their weekend to come and see all of our feline friends.

Thank you to Caroline and Wendy from Awards board Ireland who provided us with a 5 star service with the beautiful rosettes and trophies. The committee took the decision to support our local rosette company and keep the business local. The girls did an amazing job and I heard lots of compliments!

A big congratulations to all our award winning cats, especially to the best in show winner Kittychara Creme Caramel, and a special congratulations to Solly Imp Gr Ch Beinnliath Lost Soul who is the FIRST EVER Imperial Grand champion in GCCF history! Well done everyone!

A big thank you to all our helpers and volunteers, we can’t run shows without these people. It’s vital we continue to help and volunteer at the shows or we won’t be able to exist and it would be a shame if we lost the shows in the future due to the lack of interest in exhibitors willing to roll up their sleeves and help keep the “show on the road”! The 3 clubs always welcome new committee members and we would love to get more people involved, most of our meetings are done via zoom now too.

I hope to see you all soon, and may you all have continued success with your beautiful cats.

Final reminder to enter our upcoming show on 1st March 2025 at the Larne leisure Centre. Monday is the closing date at 12 midnight!

Also for any members interested in joining the committee we will be having our AGM at 7 PM on 17/3/24 via zoom. If you’re interested please contact the page with your email address and a zoom link will be forwarded to you along with the relevant paperwork closer to the time.

Just one week to get entered in our double GCCF all breed championship cat show. Everyone is welcome!

📆 1st March 2025.
📍Larne Leisure Centre, 28 Tower Road, Larne, BT40 1AB.
📍Venue is located just 5 minutes from the port of Larne ferry terminal for P&O, for Scottish and English exhibitors.
⏰Open to the public 1-4pm
🤩Great line up of experienced GCCF judges.
🏆Two best in show presentations!
🎟️Small entry fee at the door.
🅿️Free parking!
🛍️Lots of lovely cat related stalls

🔎For all spectators, this is a great event to see the different breeds, meet like minded cat lovers or even find a breeder for a future kitten, so save the date for a great day out!

This year we have teamed up with Awardboard Ireland trophies and rosettes for some new and exciting designs and of course a bit of bling! ✨

The ladies will be on site to offer upgrades, framing, printing or just to personalising your cats awards! We haven’t had anything like this is recent years, so quite exciting to have something new!

After the success of last year’s sponsorship we have decided to bring it back again! Here’s what is on offer..

Hi everyone! 🐈🐈‍⬛

It’s nearly that time of year again where we team up with the ERIN CAT CLUB to host our annual show. The schedule should be live from Monday 13th to enter via Star on your GCCF profile. To enter click into your cats profile and at the top you will see show entry, select our show and follow the instructions!

As we all know the price of things continue to grow, and we have tried our best to keep the pricing down. Your first entry will be £45, this will include your years membership, a catalog, and an admittance for one person only, subsequent entries will be £40 for adults and neuters, and kittens have been reduced to £35. This will hopefully work out a bit cheaper than last year and we do appreciate all our exhibitors. There are no limits on double pens either.

I also have a surprise for our kittens, but all will be revealed! ✨

Sponsorship!

A lot of people have already been asking about sponsoring a class. I’ve decided to open it up to more than last year to give more people an opportunity to get their name or prefix on a ribbon or trophy. It’s also a great help to the clubs to keep the costs down so we can continue. This year we have teamed up with a new company called Awardboard Ireland, who will also be joining us on show day to personalise your rosettes or upgrade them to something of your choice or maybe even have them framed to protect them in the future, but I will be posting more on that to give you an idea on what to expect later.

All volunteers are welcome, and very much needed, so please get in touch if you can help in anyway possible!

Thank you everyone who attended and supported our show yesterday. We would like to thank our six wonderful judges who travelled far and wide to judge all our lovely cats. Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped the show run smoothly.

This year we decided to offer a sponsorship for our best in section awards. This seemed to be very popular and an extra added bonus. We also received sponsorship from Royal Canin and cat toys from Tactile who also had a stall at our show!
