It’s Bisque popping in again to show off his FAVORITE activity: watching television! Does anyone else have piggies who do this?!
Good morning from Magnus and Olaf!
Good morning from Olaf and Magnus!
OMG! 😱😱 Watch this for a laugh!
This is Earl, one of our social media volunteer’s pigs. And while this video is hilarious and adorable, it’s also a good reminder that many guinea pigs are quite smart and are able to use that in ways we’d never imagine. This is a good opportunity to go over your enclosures and make sure they are all pig proof!
JUST RESCUED! We got contacted by someone who found a guinea pig alone and crying on a hot sidewalk. She just brought him to us and he isn’t more than a week old. Olaf is “fostering” him and the baby is eating and popcorning - and doing what baby piggies should be doing (NOT crying because they’re alone on the sidewalk!). Thank goodness for people like Ingrid (this tiny baby’s guardian angel).
Here is our Best Video Champion from the Virtual Pignic - Moe! - enjoying his prizes for getting first place. With special thanks to Oxbow Animal Health and Small Pet Select for donating so generously to our fundraiser with silent auction and contest prizes and helping us earn much needed funds for the piggies!
Good morning, from Manila Luzon and Olaf (enjoying their pumpkin and shilintong mixture).
Liza wants to remind everyone to send their videos to enter into the Best Video contest for Virtual Pignic this Sunday (May 29 from noon to 2pm) to [email protected].

Here’s Stardust and some of her SIX babies today.
Mama Stardust had SIX babies yesterday! Mama and babies are all doing well.
Little blind and mostly deaf Olaf is happy this morning…maybe because he got adopted. He is a foster fail and has two older bros, Jinkx Monsoon and Manila Luzon, to spend his days with.
At 6 days old, babies are now little eating machines. Looks like we have 3 girls. The black one already has an adopter. That leaves mama and a baby girl and one single female baby girl who need homes.
If interested in adopting the mama and a baby or one of the baby girls, email [email protected].
And at 48 hours, babies discovered veggies and hay…
Our two new arrivals (soon-to-be mamas) are buckled down for the night. We took them in from our friends at Wee Companions https://www.facebook.com/WeeCompanionsSD to help lighten their load a bit from their recent Truck Bed rescue. Aren't they so cute?!
If you would like to donate to their care, you can donate through this link - we appreciate it!: http://occavyhaven.org/donate.php
Just adopted! Little baby boy (now named Honey - seen here “taking a vitamin”) met his new nanny boar, Brownie, and it was instant love. He has gone with Ally P and family to start his new life.
Baby Liza seems to be wondering where her mom went 😉. Judy and Liza are available for adoption. For more information, email [email protected].
Baby Betty has already learned to take her daily vitamin C supplement. She watched her “mom,” Sara, a few times and then just copied her. Sara (black and white adult abby) and Betty are available for adoption. Email [email protected] for adoption info.
Sara and baby Betty are patiently waiting for their morning spot cleaning and pellet refill. They are also waiting for a forever home. If interested in adopting these cuties, email [email protected] for an application.
