Eddie was born outside as one of 5 kittens to a friendly mom who had been put out by her owner for getting pregnant. In just a couple of days’ time a predator had gotten 3 of the kittens. We took Eddie his brother Finn and mom Gemma into rescue. Where they grew big and strong and healthy thank to greater goods food. They stay mentally stimulated with toys provided by Hartz. Once they were neutered and vaccinated, Eddie and his brother were available for adoption and we use a Nation Wide PetStore chain that provide habitat space to gain our cats/kittens more exposure. As part of the enrichment for their 2 week stay in habitat space, we make sure they have to toys provide mental and emotional enrichment to prevent stress.

Eddie was so happy with the tweeting bird toys from Hartz. We gave one chirpy bird toy to each group of kittens in each run of habitats and it was hilarious to hear chirping through the entire store as ALL the kittens enjoyed their new toy introduction. Eddie gained so much attention playing with his toy that he received an application for him and his brother Finn and they went to their forever home together this weekend.

helped us provide food for physical health and now toys for emotional health of our cats/kittens allowing us to focus our resources on vetting and adoptions. Thank you

This is Minx. She used to live outside but her feeder moved away. She is a feral cat so dhe can’t be adopted. We took her into our sanctuary and she now will live out her days inside and safe with all the food she could ever want. Without your help with food, we could not do this. Thank you ! We're able to provide supplies to our sanctuary for cats like this and we are and we know Minx is very appreciative!

Stevie was found on the side of the road in a ditch during the cold Michigan winter. I kind passerby noticed Stevie and his sister Nancy and stopped them up. When Stevie and Nancy got here they were both very underweight and sick. With lots of tlc, good food, and warm accommodations, both kitties are growing up to be sweet, beautiful cats! Stevie absolutely loves his wet and dry food! With such high-quality ingredients, we feel great about feeding it to them as well!

Thank you so much and , for keeping the kitties bellies with foods we can trust!

This is now Abbey.

She had many nicknames during her time with Dog Aide.

She had been attacked by an intact male dog while living under a porch in Detroit. She was protecting her 4-5 week old puppies. Due to circumstances beyond the homeowner’s control she contacted Dog Aide to help place her owned dogs and mentioned this dog as well.

Her left ear was nearly torn off and had become infected. She came to me after her first foster was being deployed out of state for HSUS.

Thank You program for providing high protein food including Honest Kitchen, flea and tick shampoo as well as oatmeal shampoo and cream rinse Abbey aka Dottie aka Captain Underpants fully recovered and was adopted into a loving home.

Thank you so very much program for the generous gift to help these kitties out.
I took on this very special needs girl last year. Video attached is when I received her.
She’s a hydro survivor. She’s got calicivirus. She fought a bad case of toxoplasmosis.
Today she’s struggling with a bad skin infection that sends her to the vets every three weeks for injections. Your gift will help me continue to be able to fight for her.
(My care credit bill is kinda high 🤦🏼‍♀️)
But I do whatever I can for her and many others that come to me.
Jaelynn just turned one year old on July 26 and I’m grateful for programs like yours who help us continue to help them.
Jaelynn has found her forever home with me.

Again, thank you so much
We appreciate you more then you know 🧡🤍

Here is our crew of LosGatos Foster Animals working together after bringing back 5 pallets of food back to our storage facility. We had already stored 5 pallets earlier this month. We are so grateful and blessed by the donations from feeding program, , as well as the organizers, and all the volunteers who work so hard to make all of this possible. We have a great team of volunteers and foster parents and they are our backbone of our rescue. Thank you a million times over!

From rags to Riches :)

Meet this once spicy boy that showed up at a Feral Kitty Trappers TNR Rescue, volunteer feeding station for a colony of cats.
"Minowz"
He was given the name Minowz as he became part of a TNR/rescue program.

Minowz was fortunate enough to find a kind lady feeding cats due to the generous food donations.
Without the food to feed feral cats, Minowz may not of been rescued.

Once he was in a TNR trap he showed signs of being more domesticated then feral.
At that time the trapper search for placement.
And amazingly enough she found a kind person who opened their heart and home to Minowz.
It took 6months for the new owner to even be able to pet Minowz.
We are so greatful.
His future is bright.
It takes a village and it's so worth working together to help save a little furry friends life.
Thank you , we are always better working together. 💞🐾

Johnny is from a very large colony of cats that were fending for themselves for a very long time. Johnny and his other kitty friends originated from a barn at a neighbors house and made their way down the street to a kind person who reached out to our tnr program with Mysterys Haven.Johnny is now fixed, vaccinated and well stocked with lots of yummy food. The care taker didn't know how she could afford to keep feeding Johnny and his friends so this food is truly saving their lives.

Thank you so much and for providing life saving resources to animals in need.

Poor Tina came to us with a very sad story. She was found behind the EMS building in Almont, Michigan with one deceased newborn kitten and actively in labor with a second kitten. Tina appeared to have been hit by a car and wasn't moving around much at all. Another local rescue picked her up and got her straight to the vet. Unfortunately her second baby passed away as well. Tina was evaluated, treated, and spayed a few weeks later. Tina went to a foster home and it was determined that she was special needs. Tina went back to her original rescuer but she was just not doing well in that situation and didn't understand how to use the litter box or do normal cat things. Mystery's Haven offered to give Tina a forever home and we are happy to report that she is now thriving. She uses the litter box exclusively now, navigates stairs and even goes in and out of the enclosed catio. She loves her kitty friends and she LOVES to eat!

Thanks so much to and we have plenty of yummy food to keep Tina and the other Sanctuary cats with full bellies always!

Meet Jenga, Checkers, Scrabble, and Yahtzee

These kittens were rescued from a homeowner’s front porch, sitting in a cardboard box in April. There were simply too many cats for the homeowner to care for.

The program allowed me to have food and supplies to house the mama cat and these kittens until they were big and strong enough to not nurse on Mom, and be their cute, independent selves!

This is a picture of a beautiful kitty and her eight kittens. They were found in a taped up box in a park. Momma was thin so kittens were bottle fed a few times a day to help out. I named the momma Mia she was the absolute best mom. She not only took care of her 8 kittens but two others were found alone and she accepted them as well. Mia and all 10 kittens grew stronger and did well. Without the help of Goods Program this type of rescue would not be possible. We thank you for all your donations of food and litter. Thank you for helping us continue to save lives.

21/07/2023

In May of this year LosGatos Foster Animals were alerted to a large group of kittens that were found in a shed in Burton, MI. The homeowner explained that there were a couple of mama cats that had given birth around the same time and one of those mamas had stolen the other’s babies. To make matters worse, the homeowner found a dead opossum within feet from the kittens that had to have been there for a couple of days. She sadly had already found 2 kittens that had passed and needed help for one that looked in rough shape. When myself and my husband got to her house, we noticed that there were 13 kittens all in one pile. Two more had passed while we were on the way. After a thorough look, all 11 kittens were in rough shape and needed lots of TLC.There seemed to be 6 of the younger litter and 5 of the older litter. Of the two litters there are 5 that still survive. These little babies, with the help of the feeding program, were able to put up a strong fight. One of the youngest in the group had to be brought back to life and had been struggling to gain weight. With the food from the program he has gone from being malnourished to finally growing into his little body and having his fur come in. We really appreciate all the work that goes on behind the scenes in order to get food to the animals that truly need it!

This is Margo. She was found on the mean streets of Burton, starving and covered in fleas. When we first brought her home with losgatos foster animals, we could see every bone in her spine due to malnutrition. With the help of the feeding program, she gained the weight to help her become a healthier kitty. She's now our very vocal, brave, cuddle bug. She's a polydactyl and has 7 toes on her front paws. Margo was also diagnosed with mycoplasma, a lingering upper respiratory infection. It's been a long haul, but she is now healthy and happy. We loved her so much that she became a foster fail. We adopted her in the spring. She's so fantastic that we had her cute little face put on a shirt.

This is Pickles and Penelope. When they were found living on the streets they were in bad shape, physically and mentally, starving and full of fleas.

They were cold, terrified and needed time, love and most importantly food and litter so they could be rehabilitated which takes time.

With this amazing program, Pickles and Penelope had a clean, safe place to be fostered with love and much needed food in their little tummies.

Pickles and Penelope are now living amazing happy lives with their new families and it is only possible due to the generous donations of food and litter received from the

This is Sunnie. She was an owner surrender to Bark Nation.

She was emaciated at only 45 pounds compared to her healthy weight of 70-75 pounds. She was also heart worm positive and had an audible Grade 4 heart murmur.

Thanks to donation from , this picky eater who needed to be on a strict refeeding schedule was able to safely gain weight.

It was so helpful to have so many options in dry food, canned/wet food and treats.

She also benefited from slow feeders once she was healthy and strong enough to undergo heart worm treatment and needed to remain calm and at crate rest.

Thankfully once she was clear of heart worms her murmur was gone.

She was adopted into a wonderful family who took her camping and even built a ramp to get into their motor home since she had some lower spine and hip issues.

Meet Zaya.
I pulled her from DACC as she was sick and very weak. So malnourished her ear was deformed.
With time and patience she began to thrive and feel better. Most of our funding goes straight to emergency vetting for these kitties. Your generous donations of food and litter make everything easier. Thank you for being there for us and allowing us to continue to help, rescue, save.

This is Wednesday, she has had a very tough start to life. Not only did she come to us a nervous girl, she contracted FIP, and subsequently some severe eye ulcers. During her recovery we used the high quality food to allow her body to fight everything thrown her way. We also used many of the treats to get her out of her shell and trusting people. I am happy to say that Wednesday is now fully recovered and the sweetest girl around. Thank you program and food for helping give these babies the best chance at survival.

Meet Tina. Little Tina was found in a yard all alone, just one week old. We didn't know it at the time, but after we got Tina into our care, we realized why her mama abandoned her. Tina has Swimmers Syndrome and was not very mobile. With the help of donations received from program, FKT has been able to fully care for Tina, feed her and give her everything she needs to thrive. She is named after Tina Turner, who had some amazing legs - and we think our Tina's legs are pretty darn amazing too! THANK YOU for all the donations! Kitties like Tina truly benefit from them

Madison and her kittens; Mira, Miles, Michael and Mila
Madison was left behind when her former owners moved out of their house. She was alone in the with no food or shelter. She wandered to nearby houses and barns to stay out of the elements and find food left out for others indoor outdoor cats. She of course was not spayed and ended up delivering a litter of kittens. In a few weeks she started bringing her kittens up from the barn to a neighbor’s deck. Lucky for Madison that neighbor was a cousin to one of our fosters. Who went and picked up sweet Madison and trapped her kittens.
Today Madison's belly is full. Her babies are all well fed, warm, sheltered and loved on every day. They have all been vetted, kittens socialized and are waiting for their forever homes. These are 4 kittens that will have wonderful lives not a day to day life of strife fighting for survival.
Thanks to program we have the food to take in these abandoned kitties. We use food to help socialize kittens using it as reward for coming to us, letting us handle them. Thank you for letting us show them there is some Love!

Just want to say thank you very much and on behalf of Metro Detroit based Pet Adoption Alternative of Warren (PAAW) volunteers and caretakers! It has helped so many cats, many living outside!

We have many stories and this one is about Gerri.

This wet Meow Mix helps our caretakers, Gerri, on what we call Murder Street in Detroit. She feeds almost 50 cats daily, She has names for quite a few of them.

The first year myself and another volunteer TNR'd over 42 cats and have picked up over 40 kittens. Gerri gets new comers every year and we try to keep up on all the TNR and try to rescue any new kittens.

This wet Meow Mix is incredible to have for these outdoor cats living on unsafe streets

Celine and her 4 siblings were born to a feral Mom. The kittens had upper respiratory infection and eyes crusted shut. After treatment, the kittens were adopted and the Mom was released to her caretaker. 7 months later Celine was returned. The resident cat was bullying Celine to the point she would always hide.

Celine's original foster was available and had adopted Celine's brother. She used Meow Mix tenders in sauce to re-introduce the siblings during feeding time. After a few weeks, Celine has started to come back out of her shell. Playing like a kitty should.

Thank you for the wonderful supply of food. We can rescue so many more cats.

Faerie Tales Cat Rescue answered a plea from a pet owner whose cat was struggling with her litter of 6, 3-week-old kittens and no one would help her. The mom was sick the kittens were frail and getting sick and she could not afford a veterinary trip. One of our fosters is a veterinary technician and she went to the home and saw the mom cat had a bad case of mastitis and was infected and raw. We did not want o pull the kittens so young so we had a vet look at the mom for us and decided to try treating her with antibiotics for a week. Unfortunately, mom just was not producing enough milk and the infections was not improving after a week and the kittens had to be pulled for both the health of the mother and the kittens. The kittens ranged in size from a mere 5 ounces up to 1.1 pound and were about 4 weeks old.

Thankfully donated some MOTHER & BABY CAT food to the greatergoods.org program who when they heard of our story offered us 5 cases to help this litter of kittens grow big and strong. Having veterinary grade food to supply to our foster homes dealing with sick, underweight and special kitties is a blessing.

The kittens are gobbling up the food and growing into healthy playful kittens.

Thank you from Faerie Tales Cat Rescue and all the Babies

Mother of many - domestic division

Ducky was found in Detroit back in April, at 5 months of age. He was stained yellow and had urine scald scabs all over his lower extremities. His belly was round like a bowling ball he was so full of worms but his hips and spine stuck out from being emaciated. His feet looked like duck feet from lack of exercise and malnutrition. His hip socket was fractured. His popliteus tendon and meniscus had a partial tear.
It has been a slow process with him. He is not food driven so it’s hard to get the nutrients he needs. In October we had a medical procedure called PRP done to help his knee finish healing. We added the recovery to help get food into him so he could be medicated. 4 more weeks of crate rest but we are on the right track. Thank You Greatergoods.org program for the donations

Mother of Many - domestic division
Peanut came to us from Detroit Animal Control at 2 days old after being thrown from a moving vehicle. He weighed 273 grams at intake, a ripped ear flap, a hole in his head and arm pit. As he grew, he was days behind other puppies in his age bracket. We started adding recovery to his gruel when we transitioned off the bottle. He started gaining more weight and seemed to thrive. Today his heart murmur is still present but he caught up with other puppies his age and is doing well. Thank you .org program for the donations.
