In honor of Dia de Los Mu***os, a moment to acknowledge our most recent resident to cross the rainbow bridge. Zinn, named after the esteemed author Howard Zinn, was a delightful dog that graced us for 13 years. Outlived doctors prognosis by years and always had a cheerful attitude. One of the few dogs I've ever trusted to walk off leash… In the words of Pearl Jam "and wherever you've gone, and wherever we might go, it doesn't seem fair, today you disappeared. Your lights are reflected now, reflected from afar". Love and thoughts to all the animals that we have lost along the way 🦋

CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!!
Rapinoe is just adorable. This is his frustration pout. He’s waiting for me to feed. Apparently the treats throughout the day aren’t enough for this guy, the one man wrecking ball. He’s constantly just destroying things wherever he goes. , “He’s a hog. What do you expect?” he knocks over everything, eats everything and is a train wreck. Still the sweetest boy in the world though. Our big baby boy. I can’t say how much I personally love this “little” guy. I love our and without a huge thank you to Jenna for all their love and support helping us with getting him. Without their help and the we would have never have this gem. @ Light Years All Species Rescue

I honestly don’t have to say much. This is the most loving, personal, friendly, go with the flow, ride the wave, just as cool as a cucumber, cat that I’ve ever seen. He’s the master chill artist. Knows how to love when needed. Finds his place, wherever that may be. He’s constantly laying next to or with Madiba (the parrot) as if they’re best buds. I never once fear him getting along with any sentient being we bring in the house. He’s by far the most beautiful boy. A super gentle soul. Hippy at heart. This is just a typical day for our kid, Rocktober.

Little Joaquin learning to climb. So proud of himself. A little timid coming down (I have to help him), but he’s going to overcome that fear. He loves it up there though. I’ll help him down because mama cries for him, but he climbs right back up. He’s growing up so fast. His horns are more than double what they were, and his little belly has doubled. His height is taking a bit, but that’s okay. Short, fat, thin, tall, we love them all. 🐐 @ Light Years All Species Rescue
