Well we made it to Nashville and it seems the alternator is going out in Bertha. We handed out return passengers off to the girl in Myrtle and sent them on their way. Lee and I will be spending the night and hoping a shop has time to fix it tomorrow o we can get back home.

Heading to Ohio from Albany to make our last 2 drop offs!

This little sweetie Megan (MEgan) will be transporting up to a wonderful rescue (Perfect Imperfections) with us this weekend! This little lady has been diagnosed with ME (mega esophagus) I went by the foster’s the other day to learn how to properly care for such delicate little lady. We are so lucky that my co-driver and her wife have had an ME dog for almost 10 yrs and offered to foster this girl and teach me how to care for her. ME dogs require eating upright, most can’t have water, and are very delicate. I’m so thankful to have Lee and Kathy’s knowledge and expertise so we can safely transport ME dogs.❤️🐾

We are going to start our morning with a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my co-driver, my side-kick, my friend, my counselor, etc… 69 yrs young today and this lady can work any 25 yr old under the table. She is by my side in this van week after week chasing the same passion as I. She lives to be a cog in the wheel of saving these pups. She is truly a saint on earth and deserves all of the recognition!! HAPPY BIRTHDAYLee McConnell I love the sh*t out of you and are blessed to know you!
