This little dog is only 4lbs. So small that a typical neck collar every dog owner has for their dog would be too dangerous to have on her neck. We are using Play, Positive reinforcement (treats & play), and Negative Punishment (No treats or play).Every dog owner at a minimum should understand this concept. Right now, he’s mastering one of the most important skills for a therapy dog: greeting people appropriately. With every session, he’s getting closer to becoming the calm, confident, and comforting presence he was meant to be.This journey wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of his incredible trainer, Sally, who has put in countless hours to guide Winston through his training. Dusty and His Mom Begin Their Training Journey
Today, Dusty, a spirited young Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and his dedicated mom started their training journey with Ashley, their trainer. 🐾
Dusty just completed his first week of training, and his mom is going above and beyond to give him the best life possible. She takes him on multiple walks every day and is eager to help him focus his energy.
Under Ashley’s guidance, they worked on the place command today, which is the foundation for building focus and stability. Dusty and his mom did a fantastic job, and it’s clear how much love and effort she’s putting into his success.

🐾Winston’s Big Day at Fort Frye Elementary!🐾
Today, therapy dog Winston and his trainer, Sally, visited Fort Frye Elementary to continue Winston’s journey toward becoming a life-changing therapy dog. His mission? To practice greeting new kids with confidence, calmness, and lots of tail wags!
Winston’s visit was filled with smiles, gentle pets, and moments of connection as he worked on building trust and spreading joy to students. Each interaction is preparing him for his future role of making lives better through his therapy work, whether it’s in schools, hospitals, or other community spaces.
Winston’s progress has been incredible, and Sally is proud of how far he has come. This sweet pup is already leaving pawprints on hearts and will surely become a favorite wherever he goes!
