I was thinking back today when I got Whisper. Everyone in my family knows to make sure I don’t walk into Petco or I will come out with an animal. But 18 months ago I walked in with my sister and a friend and we found “Wilson’s” who names an animal Wilson? I decided I wanted her so bad. I called my dad and no he was not the happiest but he let me get her. I raced to the shelter to adopt her knowing another family wanted her. I do know that she wouldn’t have been happy. She’s an animal that bonds to one person and no one else. From day one she chose me. To this day I don’t regret my decision I’m very happy with my choice yes she drives me crazy. But she is definitely a great companion. Just wanted to share this. Animals do impact your life in more then one way and always hurts when you lose them. Having lost 5 of my best friends (animals) in the past 9 years I’m happy and hoping whisper sticks around for many years. Animals do bring a comfort to me. I don’t remember a time where i used to not have an animal. And to be honest I wouldn’t have it any other way. I find it very dumb when people ask if your a dog or cat person and I don’t know how to awnser because I like both. But I also love horses. If I had to choose between a horse, dog, cat I wouldn’t be able to.
