Got my new foster, Missy, on Wednesday. She had been rescued from a local kill shelter. She had been surrendered by her owner. She is a sweet lovable girl. She now has severe separation anxiety thanks to being abandoned. We are working on it but it may take awhile. I am just letting her know how loved she is now and that she is safe. Also working on some manners and my dogs are teaching her doggie boundaries.

Last Wednesday, I got this girl and had her 3 days which I spoiled her rotten. Such a sweet quiet girl who just loves to play fetch and you better not even think about stopping! Had to dress her up in pink for her sendoff on Saturday. Can't wait to hear about her forever after.

So, now we have Xena who I was able to rescue and foster and name. This poor baby was reportedly running in the road almost getting hit, then being attacked by someone's Husky, after which being saved by a good citizen who put her in a safe place. I met this kind lady and offered to help. I brought her home with me and this terrified little girl turned into a hilarious, quirky goofball who loves burrowing under blankets and freaking everyone out because you can't find her. Luckily no one sat on her. Happily, I can say she goes to her forever home tomorrow which makes me so happy and sad at the same time. How can my heart be so full and broken at the same time. I guess it is a foster thing I will have to live with. I will gladly give them a piece of my heart so theirs can be full.

Yes, I am playing catch up today on my page but it is getting done. I will always be able to look back and see these beautiful, deserving, pups.

On Jan. 22, 2021, my newest foster was Miss Molly who is such a doll! She was Angel's favorite playmate of them all. She is now happily adopted and being loved by a wonderful family.

I have had Deena for 3 weeks. What a bundle of energy she is now. She came from a hoarding situation malnurished and terrified. She has learned what love is now. She will make a family very happy!

Meet Cuddles, my foster for the last few weeks. He lives up to his name every day and is going to be so tough to let go tomorrow. I love him so much and know that he is going to make someone a wonderful, loyal pet. There will be many tears tomorrow. You can see how happy he has become. My dogs love him too.
