Teddy needed some time to feel safe coming for food this day as there was a tractor in the adjoining paddock. Such a brave horse!

In just 11 weeks, Teddy has healed enough to be out in the big field with his new friends. Thanks to YOU, our loving supporters, for helping Teddy. Because he would never win race money again, he was about to be euthanized. with your help we can save more horses lijke Teddy. 💛🐴✨ he’s a champion in my eyes. A perfect individual, a living, feeling being - so deserving of life and care and respect - as all horses and animals are 🙏

Here is Chance ( formerly Gandalf) being welcomed into his new loving home at @brumbyequineassistedtherapy Parihan, his new human, is not only kind and gentle and experienced… she also has a very conscious, respectful and attuned way with horses. Thank you to Parihan and everyone who supported Chances care and transport costs to have him safely released from the racing works into a new kind chapter. Teddy is so happy and gentle. He watches every move at breakfast and dinner time and in between Teddy had sone lovely grassy hay to snack on. He’s such a young and powerful horse - I’m glad he’s happy and taking his healing time in his stride. He’s comfortable and is getting stronger by the day.

Beautiful Gandalf - we hope he finds his loving home soon 🙏🐴💛 another beautiful, innocent horse. We are helping to find Gandalf a new home and today i went to visit him again. He’s gentle and trusting and sweet. He has a calm and wise feeling to him… aside from being extremely handsome.

Faith enjoying her favorite lotion to heal and protect her skin 💛🐴💛 when she is uncomfortable around humans she easily goes onto shutdown. She’s had such an unpleasant past she’s still wary of humans. When given time and space and listened to and respected, Faith almost always relaxes into her new kind world. At only two years old, he was already a prize-winning racehorse. 🏆🐴 Teddy suffered an injury while training. 💔 Rescuers found him limping, being led away to be killed. 🐎😭 Minutes later, he would have been dead and buried. These cute, curious and courageous ponies traveled wonderfully today. They’re settling in nicely to their foster home and have check ups tomorrow and dentist on Thursday 💙 Thank you to everyone who played the pot and getting these three beautiful ponies (Mum, dad and son) the care they need.
