The Kind Farm Horse Rescue

The Kind Farm Inc. save horses from slaughter, neglect and racing/sporting injury. Horses are healed pysically and emotionally.

We train/retrain with consent, liberty and reward based training. The horses are then adopted into loving forever homes. 🤍🐴 The Kind Farm is a Horse Rescue Network based in Australia. We rescue and rehabilitate horses who have been discarded and displaced and would otherwise be slaughtered. When horses are ready for their next loving chapter they are re-homed in to loving fur-ever adoption homes.

It's a good day for Arthur. He has been very scared getting his feet done lately and today was a milestone. It's been such a team effort to get this beautiful horse, strong and confident, and the stars are shining upon Arthur ✨as he has just found a beautiful experienced loving adoption home - thank you, Kate and Michael for opening your heart and home to this beautiful horse.
Huge thanks to wonderful Volunteer Skye for showing up so many times to help Arthur regain confidence to get his feet done.

Dentist time for many of the horses yesterday including Braveheart. He was a little uncertain however he was calm and it's great news that his teeth are good. Comet chose to oversee done of the treatment.

Even the smallest horses are safe on our custom .horsefloats
These little darlings needed some extra hoof rehabilitation and we're doing everything to get there feet a strong and healthy as possible before the wet season. Thanks Jason Proctor for your dedication and countless hours to helping The Kind Farm horses. 🙏 and of course to our beautiful supporters for making all the rescues and rehabilitation possible

These two best friends, Merlin and Magic have been up for adoption for so long. Thanks to our wonderful supporters Magic and Merlin were rescued from slaughter years ago . They have been enjoying the quiet life together in different paddocks. As long as they're together, with lots of nutritious food, they're happy. There was a time when Merlin's future was not looking so bright however, his condition is stable if anything slightly improved. They're not the prettiest, but there is healthy as they can be and loving life every day. Magic is so calm and friendly now and it's wonderful to see how at ease he is.

Beautiful moments with beautiful volunteers and beautiful horses this week. The horses have been lovingly groomed and treated with delicious blueberries. Thanks Skye, Trini and Liv for helping the horses this week.

Today Magic, Merlin and Genie travelled in comfort for a holiday in a beautiful nourishing mountain paddock. After a short trailer ride and a scenic walk up a mountain they settled in to munch on fresh grass. Thanks Jason for setting up the beautiful paddock to help the horses 🙏 and huge thanks as always to everyone who helps the horses. We're delighted to be able to safely transport horses with ease in our perfect donated trailer 🤍

Braveheart, Comet and friends enjoying some lovely Hay and the beautiful surrounds at .byronbay yesterday. It's a rainy evening and when I put Braveheart's rain jacket on tonight, I needed to make the straps quite a bit bigger because he's gained so much condition since he last wore his jacket.
wintertime with so little grass isn't always that easy on horses especially those that need to keep and gain weight . I'm delighted for Braveheart that he is continuing to thrive.

We're so grateful for this wonderful rescue trailer that was so kindly donated to us. Not only was a donated but we got to choose the best trailer to be able to Rescue horses in with all of the customised features we needed. Braveheart was the first horse to be rescued on this trailer and today we got our logo on the trailer. We're so grateful and so happy for all of the horses we will get to save. 🙏 thank you for your professional and friendly service 🤍🐴💎
