Magic and Merlin! They’re such radiant beings. They arrived timid and dejected … rescued from slaughter. Thank goodness we could help them - thanks to our supporters - your kind donations make so many rescues possible 🙏🐴🐴
PLEASE HELP 💔
Teddy was sentenced to death by lethal injection. By a twist of fate, Teddy’s life was spared.
At only two years old, he was already a prize-winning racehorse. 🏆🐴 Teddy suffered an injury while training. 💔
Rescuers found him limping, being led away to be killed. 🐎😭 Minutes later, he would have been dead and buried.
He will never race again, but with time and expert care, Teddy will heal. ❤️🐴 Please donate to help Teddy heal. 🙏💖
We can only help him with your support. 🌟

These cute, curious and courageous ponies traveled wonderfully today. They’re settling in nicely to their foster home and have check ups tomorrow and dentist on Thursday 💙 Thank you to everyone who played the pot and getting these three beautiful ponies (Mum, dad and son) the care they need.
A majestic morning … a magical horse at beautiful @nest.byronbay everyone is just loving this gorgeous weather 🙏🐴💙 and it’s lovely to see the horses so comfortable and their hooves a chance to dry out. It’s such a vibe of contentment and relaxation. Thanks to our kind and caring social media community for making the care and rescue and rehabilitation of these horses possible. Almost all of The Kind Farm horses are rescued from neglect or slaughter so your support is truly life-saving 🙏
Gorgeous Peppermint so patiently having his dressing changed today. 💚 I just love this young, curious and courageous individual. Get well soon Peppy 💙
The sun is shining and the horses are happy. What a delight to have some dry weather. Spirits are soaring and hooves are healing. Bit chilly but most of the horses are cozy in the rugs that ❤️you❤️ our wonderful supporters have purchased for them
Spirit + Sox and Aslan playing and learning. Sox and Aslan have a great time together and are learning some liberty trsining and lots of little things to help them enjoy the big wide world.
Each session is a big step forward and the best part is seeing the horses become calmer and more confident and expand their world so they can enjoy the beauty of being a horse in this world. (Having their freedom of spirit whilst being cared for. )
Out and about Exploring the big wide beautiful world with these two perfect beings
Look at beautiful Zara today please send her all of your love and prayers and if you haven’t already donated to help her it would be a huge help. She’s already feeling so much better. Just a little note on her name that she was already called Sarah which is such a warrior princess name and when she arrived I thought I change your name to Willow just to give her a new start and I just couldn’t see that strength and power in her. Now that she started to heal so quickly I called out to her with her name sorry and she seem to really like it so I think her name is going to stay at Zara. Most of the horses I rename them if they’ve had a awful post because I feel like the beginning of a new chapter but occasionally they keep that original name. Of course many of the horses we never have a name for they just come with a number from the saleyards.
Dentist time yesterday. with this wonderful gentle equine dentist Matthew Munce. Willow/Zara is much more comfortable now - she had sharp teeth and sore gums. Now she can eat more comfortably and will continue to improve. She’s walking around more and much brighter and happier.
More acupuncture today and she’s making friends with River and Sophia whilst Thorin has gone to visit Prince Caspian 💛🐴🐴
What a huge positive turn around in just a week for this beautiful horse and her pony friend. Without your support and donations her rescue would not have been possible.
River and Sophia enjoying an afternoon snack today. With the chili nights and lovely dry days their feed contains ginger and turmeric along with barley and nutritious natural supplements.
These dry days are exactly what these horses needed and I’m delighted to let you know that thanks to your loving support, this two miraculous beauties are doing quite well. Both horses are a had another hood restructuring treatment last week and the dry weather is giving their soles a chance to harden up (which is great as they need strength in their hooves)
💚 Peppermint 💚 A joyous moment today when Peppermint cantered up to the fence when I arrive to feed him and then trotted up to get his food. Peppermint was raised as a young horse and then injured and ordered to be put down. He was an investment and once injured, his insurance was claimed. His owners could then buy another horse and peppermint was what’s known as “wastage”.
He was in so much pain when he arrived and now he’s loving life and moving around.
We love you Peppy and we hope that one day you will heal completely.
Every donation to Peppermint and all of our regular donors have made his rehabilitation possible. 💚🐴🙏 thank you
River and Sophia yesterday enjoying the dry weather that we are so grateful to have had over the last week.
A blessed moment with this curious, courageous and completely loveable horse, Sox.
It’s such a relief to see some sunshine and the horses are relaxed and enjoying it. It’s still muddy and it’s been a long time since I got a little moment of connection with this beloved horse. Most of my energy has been with River and Sophia as hoof care in muddy conditions ia not easy.
Sox, Aslan, Spirit, Arthur and Prince Caspian have been a little herd for a long time now. Even when in a big field with other horses, they mostly form their own little crew.
Within their little herd Sox and Aslan are best friends, and Spirit and Arthur are besties. Prince Caspian settles in with anyone and, due to the muddy weather, we have separated the horses for awhile to have less in each paddock so they can get enough food and minimise the mud that is worse when larger herds are in each paddock.
This video is from our wonderful committee member Sebastian when he brought out his drone many weeks ago when the grass was growing and the paddocks had no mud.
It's a joy to have little Prince Caspian with us. He had been adopted out, but when we moved his friends to their new paddocks, it would have meant he would be the only horse left on that land and horses need horsey friends....and so he cam with us.
We have been busy setting up a new paddock for the horses because their current ones are so muddy and there’s so little grass left. Yesterday Tara, Spirit, Arthur and Faith moved to this beautiful paddock. Here is Tara taking a drink while so we’re getting her water set up. Faith is looking on from the side Arthur is in the Spirit trues to drink but Tara is not happy with him drinking with her.
We are so excited about this new Patek because it comes with a beautiful partnership with a local retreat. I will share more details soon.
Thank you to everybody who donated to help with paying Dentist costs. Sparkles magic, Merlin, peppermint, river and Sophia were also brave in letting the Dentist file their teeth.
We are grateful to this horse whisperer Dentist (I call him that for his wondrous ways) for he is kind patient and gentle as well as an equine dental expert.
It appears sparkles had never had his teeth filed before. Sparkles took everything in his dried and it only took a moment for him to realize he was being held.
So grateful to YOU our wonderful supporters and so proud of these horses and so grateful for kind and gentle horse expert practitioners like Matthew Munce.
Merlin being his wondrous self. Lot of the horses have needed their eyes cleaned lately….hood cleaning is a regular need especially in this muddy weather. Such a joy to see this horse with a huge personality be so confident and at ease. What a lovable character
He was so dejected when her arrived… now he’s bright and trusting and cones up for care and oats and treats. I’ve never seen a horse with such reverence for carrots 🥕💛
I don’t often feed carrots but one day Merlin was fed a carrot and his face lit up!…. He was so happy … So I remember to bring Merlin some treats from time to time.
