In a world where violence and hatred exist, choose to be kind. Especially to those who are voiceless and abused.

As our 14-day campaign comes to an end, Paws For A Cause encourages everyone to gaze into the eyes of these poor animals and feel their pain and loneliness. Look into their soul and feel their yearning for a place to call home. Spread the word about the benefits of adopting rather than buying an animal. If you adopt, be a responsible owner and give these animals as much love and care as you can. Stop supporting inhumane breeders and begin thinking about adopting a mistreated or abandoned pet.

Spread love, kindness, and compassion, particularly to the voiceless. Animals are not mere accessories or items to be owned; they have feelings and an existence of their own. They must be free of cruelty and abuse from their owners and the rest of the world. Be humane, not just human.

Be kind to stray animals and feed them if you can 🥺

There are not enough homes for all the animals that are born every year. Adopting from a shelter helps weaken the pet overpopulation cycle. Each year 8 to 12 million dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens are euthanized because there are simply not enough homes for them.
These poor animals deserve a home. A home where they are safe, secured and loved. A home where they provide food for them. Let’s help these animals who can’t speak for their needs.
Paws for a Cause is here to give you service in helping and adopting animals.

HOW TO CARE FOR A STRAY CAT🐾

MEET PEPPER!

She's a recent rescue kitten found in the streets alone and following any passers-by that may carry food. One of our volunteers decided to bring her home.

Here we'd like to give you a brief look into how you can care for a stray cat you may have encountered on the streets and plan to keep. Although many pet shops offer full bred cats, rescuing them from the streets is also an option you can go for albeit needing more care before they are kept as house pets. Many pet lovers claim to have taken their cats from abandoned areas, and the serotonin they get from giving these furry pals a second chance in love and a family is like no other!

Find out how to care for your new pet cat!

THINK TWICE BEFORE OWNING A PET

Owning a pet is a big responsibility. As a pet owner I'm responsible for sheltering and feeding my pet. I am responsible for its needs and responsible for giving love.

It is also our responsibility to give them a home they can stay. DO NOT LET THEM STRAY. If you feel like you can't take care of them. Take them to an adoption center. Give them the love and care they need.

ALWAYS REMEMBER

Did you know that stray dogs get up extremely early in the morning in search of food and water to satisfy their hunger? If they can't find anything, they start chewing grass to feel like they're doing something, and then they end up falling asleep all day, outside a house, on public transports, trying to save what little energy they have. When they wake up, their hunger has not subsided; in fact, it has risen, and they rush to the trash bins.

Please help the stray animals; we don't pretend nothing has occurred and we don't turn a blind eye. Many people try to drive them away, but they, too, are part of this world. Do not be indifferent; it is dreadful to be hungry and thirsty yet unable to communicate. The only goal of stray animals is to survive.

🐾 BREAK FOR ANIMALS 🐾

For pet lovers, and likewise, for the people who value the lives of stray animals, their safety is always one of the top priorities. But, what actions should we take, and how can we help if our own pet or a stray animal becomes a victim of a hit and run accident?

Hence, PAWS For A Cause would like to share with you a quick guide of the measures that we can take if ever one of these beloved animals encounter a hit and run accident.

In a span of a year, thousands of animals become a victim of hit and run cases. Unfortunately, some do not survive, while those who luckily do would have to deal with their aches and disabilities for a lifetime.

📌 PLEASE, KINDLY BREAK FOR ANIMALS!

Let us live responsibly, practice kindness everywhere, and help become the voice of the voiceless.

According to the World Health Organization, there are around 200 million stray dogs worldwide, with 12 million coming from the Philippines. The growing number of stray dogs may result in more Rabies cases and deterioration of environmental hygiene. As you may have noticed or experienced, stray dogs can have a negative impact on our environment. Stray dogs may disperse debris from your trash bins. Also, wandering dogs eat your meals without your knowledge. Stray dogs are an issue, so we need to build and support a shelter and care for them.

Supporting an animal shelter will significantly reduce the number of stray dogs and rabies cases. This will also have a positive effect on the cleanliness of our environment. People who have lost their dogs can rescue them from shelters. They can also go to the shelter and adopt a new dog. These are some of the advantages of providing stray dog shelters.

Support adoption donation drives/animal shelters and give stray animals a safe environment until potential or aspiring pet owners wish to bring a furry friend home!

THE JOURNEY OF A RESCUED STREET ANIMAL

MEET PETOT!

Saved from the streets where she was all alone scavenging for scraps, she has grown up to be a healthy adult cat. The owner of Petot, who is one of our crew, shared with us the stories of what it's like to rescue street cats and the ups and downs that came along with it. Although tough at first, taking care of a pet that was once abandoned in the streets to fend for themselves and giving them the home they deserve, it is a rewarding thing to bring these little friends back on their feet.

This is our mission and one of many stories that inspired us to create Paws For A Cause, to make sure animals on the streets are able to get the help they need and find good loving homes and owners. Whether it may be a street cat or street dog, each lonely soul deserves love and care.

Street dogs and cats are a major problem in our community, not just for us but for themselves as well. These domesticated animals need safety, as well as food, shelter, and healthcare.

We highly recommend adopting from rescue shelters. You'd be saving pets that have been abandoned on the streets and giving them a second chance in a good life and a wonderful family! Volunteering, and donating as well is a good way to help these shelters care for animals.

BE BETTER, PROVIDE SHELTER

There are many neglected stray cats and dogs in our community. They are by their own without someone to look after them. By adopting a pet, you are saving lives of poor animals in need. Adopting a pet not only benefits the pet, it can also give you emotional support just by having them around you. Of course, adopting a pet is not an easy task, you must take good care of them because they are also are living beings just like us.

Dogs and cats are being neglected or worse, they are being abused. They don't have shelter, food, and owner to take care of them. By adopting, you can give a poor cat and dog a second chance of life. Be a responsible owner. Don't just adopt them to tell the world you rescued a pet, but rather adopt because you wanted to help them and give them a loving home and family. Paws for a Cause advocates responsible adoption.

We must speak for those who can't speak for themselves.

BE HUMANE NOT ONLY HUMAN.

A street animal’s life is miserable. These animals have experienced being kicked and beaten. It walks from house to house in search of food crumbs. It has relatively little food available. It is slender and thin. It gets a nice thrashing from their hands from time to time. They doesn’t receive the pats and affection that pets receive. It has been ignored and neglected. They sleep without a shelter at night. It sleeps wherever it can find a comfortable spot to rest. It can also even be observed laying in a gutter on hot summer days.

These paw animals are mankind's best companions and aides. It is our responsibility to love and care for them. They cannot speak but they also feel like human beings. Animal kindness is a highly admirable attribute. Both humans and animals were created by God. It has been said, “He prayeth well who loveth well both man, and bird and beast,” so, we must be kind to animals. Therefore, Paws For A Cause advocates RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP.

Animals, like humans, deserve to be loved and cared. We must speak up for the voiceless and put an end to inhumane treatment.

Just like humans, pets also have emotions. They can sympathize and get traumatized. Once abandoned, they can either wander around the streets or be scared of anyone who goes near them.

Adopting and owning a pet requires responsibility and commitment. They are not just “pets” that can be discarded. They need to be loved, cherished and taken care of. Treat them like a part of your family. Therefore, Paws For A Cause advocates RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP.

“The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals can be treated”
- Mahatma Gandhi

In our daily lives, noticing stray animals wandering around our neighborhood is nothing more than just a daily routine and of importance. We pay close attention the second we see them, yet we forget about them the next moment.

Up to this day, irresponsible pet ownership is one of the main causes why animals go stray or homeless. Hence, PAWS For A Cause also strongly advocates for RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP.

Keep in mind that getting a pet is a lifetime responsibility and commitment. Our pets are not disposables; we cannot just throw them away whenever we want to. They, too, are capable of showing love, and deserving to be loved as well.

📌 BE A RESPONSIBLE PET OWNER.

Practice kindness. Good acts begin from you, yourself, and will remain instilled inside you forever.

Paws For A Cause❤️🧡💛

Our community is dealing with a situation that only our compassion can solve: stray animals on every corner.

When you’re looking to add a pet into your life, consider adopting a homeless animal. When you adopt a rescued pet, you are giving an animal a second chance at a new life. These pets might be “diamonds in the rough” that may have been overlooked, but still need a great loving home. Because each pet is an individual, we’ll talk about their special needs and offer educational information so you can easily deal with common problems in the community such as a dog that jumps on people or a cat that scratches things.

Adopting stray animals helps them to have a happy and healthy life in a loving household.
