6 years ago today marks the passing of 20 beautiful days with Sullivan. Sullivan is the FIV+ cat that brought us to Delwyn. Who led us to create Safe Harbur Cat Rescue. Which led us to saving 5 more FIV+ cats: Hugo, Todd, Fergus Peaches, Maurice, and Pacha.
Without him, our life would not be what it is.

Boogie is the sweetest little goofball!
He is cryptorchid, meaning one of his testicles has not descended, so we are waiting a little longer for neuter to see if it drops on its own. If not, he will be neutered with Dr. V which is much pricier than the S&N clinic.

Until then, he is enjoying all the snuggles and churu!

Todd has been with us for almost THREE YEARS (intake Feb 2023). He deserves a forever family to love and spoil him rotten!

About Todd:
🧡 10ish years old
🧡 FIV+
🧡 Toothless
🧡 Big boy (12ish pounds and large in size!)
🧡 Loves to snuggle
🧡 Good with cats and dogs with proper introductions
🧡 Food motivated (needs to be fed separately from pets and people)

He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready for love!

Our little Pigeon is a medical marvel 😩

Feline congenital hypothyroidism is quite rare, but usually easily corrected with medication. With medication her T4 has gotten to normal range, her TSH is still too high. Dr. V spoke with a veterinary internal medicine specialist who says she has never encountered this persistent TSH after thyroid medication doses were increased 🙃 We will be changing her to pills to see if she absorbs them better and redoing labs in 8 weeks. Unfortunately this means we can’t have her spayed yet and she’s already 5 months old so I am dreading the possibility of her going into heat within that time frame.

If anyone has experience with congenital hypothyroid, shoot me a message!

Marley and Jagger have become BFFs so we’d like to have this mother son pair adopted together! They are young and playful kitties (Marley is 14 months and Jagger is 7 months old!) Their adoption fee is reduced to $125.
